About 10 years ago I bought a grand piano from The Piano Shop and it sounds just as great now as it did then. The technicians are well trained and courteous. They always show up for appointments on time. I highly recommend using them for all your tuning and piano repairs.

Bought our piano, a Boston upright, last year. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with no high pressure during our shopping. We have experienced excellent service for the three tunings so far and one minor warranty service call. I recommend these folks highly, great pianos and great service.

With the help of Matt and our daughter's piano instructor we were able to purchase the perfect piano within our budget. As a former customer of Gist, I now utilize the team at The Piano Shop exclusively for all of my Steinway's tuning, voicing and general maintenance. Both Matt and Jim are very knowledgeable technicians, they're prompt, and will give you honest feedback on what needs to be done, cost estimates, and recommended timelines. More importantly to me, they are part of a select group who have been able to tune my grand beautifully with stretched octaves, bringing out the brilliance and harmonics of this instrument. I have had a lot of experiences with The Piano Shop. They tune my home piano and they also tune the pianos at my church. I am a pastor and was serving a church in Indiana and I hired The Piano Shop to tune our piano and then we bought a new piano from them for the church and everyone was really happy with the new sound. When I moved to Louisville I bought a new piano for my home and when I arrived at the church where I am pastor now, I discovered that my new church was already using The Piano Shop for all their piano purchases and tunings. In all cases, service and customer care and the quality of the pianos has all been excellent. And thanks to The Piano Shop I even got a recommendation for the best piano teacher ever!

We contacted The Piano Shop for tuning our 60-year old piano. The technician arrived promptly and advised us of the process. Because out piano had not been tuned for 30 years, it needed a couple of tunings, but now it sounds great.
