Great school for letting your little nugget learn how to swim. They have plenty of instructors to choose from and are candid about whom they recommend for your child's needs. I recommend them to anyone looking for a swim school

We had our first lesson here today. The person on the phone (which we were surprised to get since we had also called Nova and Watersafe with no answer) was super nice. The lady who greeted us was super nice. The instructor Desiree was absolutely kid friendly and able to make my son feel comfortable. Sooo glad that we gave this place a chance. Also love that they let the kids swim in the play pool before and after class (there is also someone supervising the play pool when there are kids in it even though the parents are w/their kids).
We started taking lessons at Waterworks when my son was two because he loved the water (and had no fear of the water). The facility is clean, the staff is friendly and it is very organized. Kyle H is a wonderful instructor and is always looking for the appropriate way to approach my son because he is often hesitant to go or try new things.
Not many adult instructors to choose from. Therefore, you don’t have the opportunity to pick the right fit for you. And 20 minute lessons are not enough time for the pricing. Not much was learned in 6 lessons.
My daughter has been taking classes at Waterworks Carlsbad since June and has become much more confident in the water. Miss Carissa and Miss Lindie worked with her in the parent and me class and have been very patient and enthusiastic with her. We have found everyone at Waterworks friendly, helpful and accommodating and would recommend their teaching methods and facility
Lindsay and Ali are hands down 2 great instructors!! I would highly recommend either of these two instructors! My 5 year old started 5 months ago afraid of the water and was in tears for the first couple lessons. Lindsay has been wonderful getting him comfortable with swimming. He uses positive reinforcement which makes the classes fun while accomplishing goals. My son is now at level 5 and loves swimming. My 3 year old just started with both Lindsay and Ali and in a matter of 2 weeks (only 2 lessons/wk), she has already moved up a level. Both also use positive reinforcements with my 3 y/o and are extremely patient and mix in a good amount of fun with her. Thank you Ali and Lindsay!!!! We love Waterworks!!!

We have been with waterworks for 2 years now. A little bit of a bumpy start as we were at two LA fitness locations that both closed with a weeks notice. Obviously we were pleased with the lessons which is why we stuck with waterworks and their Irvine location is an awesome facility. If there are any difficulties, the managers are always available and open to feedback.
We are extremely happy at Waterworks. Our kids really enjoy it and have improved their swimming soooo much! Mary is a great instructor, gives so much confidence to the kids. At first we were not sure to enroll in Waterworks because it is expensive but now I regret we didn't do it before. It is totally worth every penny!
My two kids love it. The coaches here are awesome. They have the patience and dedication children need, in order to learn and succeed. My 5-yr-old son has sensory issues, water on his face and laying on his back are a big deal. Coach Savannah has helped him so much, he now jumps off, goes under water, and floats on his back. Thank you, Irvine Waterworks :)
Over priced, way too many rules on scheduling classes--
My 5 year old recently started swimming with Coach Amy at Waterworks in Irvine. We love her!! She's helped my daughter build confidence in the water and she's improving each week! Looking forward to having a swimmer this summer! For us the heated pool and perfect pool depths for beginners have really helped. My daughter loves to come early and stay after her lesson for extra pool time. I love that she's happy here :)!
