One of the best meat and three spots in the city. Get there early and don't be discouraged by the line...it moves quickly. Try everything, it's great and don't forget dessert!

Very local, authentic food. Not touristy in the slightest. We only had desserts and they were delicious. We think we may have offended the staff by not getting food, but that's only because we had just eaten and wanted dessert. It wasn't a reflection of the food.

Food wasn't bad. The people that worked here were helpful and nice, but from what I got from being anywhere in Tennessee, everybody is nice! They give you that southern comfort feeling and make you feel right at home just like they did here at Arnold's. I appreciated the service and the company because even though we came in here straight from the airport, they told us that we're welcome to take a little more space just so that we were comfortable.

I waited 30 minutes before I got my food, and it was well worth it. Everything tasted authentic and homemade. The portions were great and I love how the counter works. You need to come here if you are ever in Nashville.

I have always wanted to try this place. Too much hype! Good food but ridiculously small portions. While I was there I observed the owner telling the staff that the portions were too large. Felt like I was ordering off a kids menu. Also over priced for a meat and 3. I have never left a meat and 3 hungry until today. Cal's Country Kitchen in Madison is a way better meat and 3.

Nothing cooked in this place is bland. Not your basic salt and pepper seasoning. Everything has a unique flavor (literally everything), nothing served right out of a can, like some of these other meat and 3s in town. Get the roast beef (any day) and you can’t go wrong w any of the veggies. And the school cafeteria style rolls are fantastic. In-house made pies or banana pudding for desert too!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Hands down the best food I have ever had. I got the roast beef and my husband got the catfish. BOTH WERE AMAZING!! There was quite a line when we got there but they kept everyone moving quickly so the wait wasn't bad at all. I would definitely come back!

Do you like delicious food and miss the nostalgia of the high school cafeteria lunch line? Arnold's is the place for you. As you go through the line, you pick your sides, which could be anything from mac and cheese, collard greens, mashed potatoes, a salad, etc, then you pick your protein. There is also a selection of desserts. If you are new to the food of the south, Arnold's gives you a chance to taste truly delicious southern delicacies. Ultimately, the food is great and the experience is better. If the line is out the door, the wait goes by quickly, so be patient.

An awesome Southern-style meat and three whose offerings are as delicious as they are unpretentious. I had the meat loaf with the creole sauce and was not disappointed in the least. It's only open for lunch so get here while you can.

Excellent. The food was incredible. I ordered meat and 2 to keep my cost close to $10. The line was almost to the door when I got there. Barely 3 minutes later, the line was through the door. When I got back to my desk, I found out why. The roast beef, green beans, and mac & cheese were all incredible. Each food item was individually seasoned. I am still tasting the roast beef and mac & cheese three days later. The service was very friendly. The co-owner, Rose, got my order. She was super nice, and probably did not have time to be. I"ll be back. Highly recommend if you are in the area
