Utilitarian cafeteria-style restaurant. This place has plastic ware, cheap tables and you get to throw the way your trash when you're done. It's busy with hungry, workmen that are looking to get a home cook meal a good price. It has five or six choices of meat and seven or eight choices of vegetables with some cakes. I had dark meat chicken with greens, black-eyed peas and a drink. I could never take my wife here, but it was well worth the $7.

I had chicken, green beans, and mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything was really good. Good lemonade too.

Good priced but seemed a little dated or over cooked. Price was unbeatable. Meat two vegetables under 8 dollars. Lunch time seem to be the best time to visit.

Good soul food and the atmosphere is very laid back. There's a steady stream of people that comes in all day but there's plenty of space to accommodate. You would think that it would be really noisy from the crowd but everyone keeps to themselves. I guess it's the food calms the soul. Lol.

They say they're open till 10:30 am for breakfast but that's a lie. I just went in there today at 10:26 and they refused to serve me breakfast. And that's after I called them 8 times in advance trying to place my order over the phone and they would not pick up the phone

Inexpensive and close to my job. They serve a variety of vegetables as well as meat and fish daily. Breakfast too. Three vegetables, bread and a drink are $5.00.

Meh...I was super hungry and it was filling... that's about it. I had the chicken pot pie, cabbage and roasted veggies. Chicken pot pie had the chicken skin, gristle and cartilage in it, which made for a gross texture but the rest of the food was good. Nothing to write home about and I probably wouldn't visit again. Good price point for what you get.
