Company Description

In November 1981, self-described “country boy” Roger Smith founded Country Cookin restaurants on a simple idea… when you go out to eat, you should be able to eat your fill of good food at a reasonable price in comfortable surroundings. We still do it the way Roger originally envisioned it.

Nothing fancy here, but consistently good quality American cuisine and knowledgeably prepared steaks, chicken, seafood and other fare. The All You Can Eat salad, sides & desert bar make this an outstanding dining spot for families and for us older folks on a tight budget!

The server was rude and annoying. She had a accent and old don't kno her name. And I got sick immediately after eating their chicken tenders so did my daughter.we we're throwing up out the Window soon as we left and just dont feel good

We love to go to country cooking on mondays. Its kids eat free and the kids love the mac and cheese and potato soup from the buffet. We love the country fried stake. But everything is really good. The service is always good and it's a relaxed place where the kids dont have to be so proper.

The food is always hot and fresh, and plentiful. I prefer breakfast on the weekends because they have corned beef hash and chip beef gravy, but that's just me. The service is great, friendly, and you can't beat the price. I do favor the location on Melrose most often, but I've never had a bad experience at any of their locations. Well worth the visit. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent location with friendly and courteous staff. Had the salad bar and it was very good food and superb variety. The entire experience was very welcomed being a visitor from out of state. Would recommend to anyone.

Food is what you would expect from a place called country cookin'. Good downhome stick to your ribs kind of fare. Meatloaf, chopped steak, etc. Buffet is decent selection. And there is always room for Jello.

Country Cooking was my mom's favorite place to go. She passed away two years ago but I still go in her memory

I have to admit, i came here with lower expectations, but i was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, and inexpensive. Even the buffet, was very well stocked, clean and tasty. It's not a giant buffet table like their competitors, but pretty much everything most folks would want was represented. The parking lot was big enough, and the area is clean and safe.

We are here in October. I gave reviews under a different name. I love their country fried steak. Their dessert bar is fantastic. We've always had great meals here.
