Dr. Burns and her staff are beyond amazing! I was referred to her by my oral surgeon to have an old root canal retreated and a new root canal done. I was not looking forward to the procedure but the first time I went to the office I was put at ease. It is like the entire team became my new best friends. The procedures were as pain free as they could be with almost no discomfort. The x-rays of my “problem” teeth were shown to me before and after and Dr. Burns explained what she was going to do and what she accomplished. I never knew a microscope could be used on a tooth during a root canal. Dr. Burns called me herself to check on me following both procedures. I was given a prescription for a pain medication and never felt the need to have it filled. That is saying a great deal for a person who has a low tolerance for pain and a love hate relationship with dental work. When I left I carried with me Dr. Burns cards and have taken them to the office of my dentist as well as given them to my friends in need of dental work. It is not my wish to return to Dr. Burns but if the need arrives I will make an appointment and show up with a smile on my face.

I have always had a fear of going to the dentist until I became a patient of Dr. Melanie Burns. I needed a root canal and dreaded the thought of any pain. There was no pain. She is extremely professional and quite knowledgeable. Her office staff is very personable and professional and what you would expect and deserve. Now when I have a dental appointment, I have no fear and am quite relaxed. I would highly, highly recommend Dr. Melanie Burns. My rating would be 6 stars!

I was very pleased with the personal touch and concern for my treatment from the entire staff. I am actually looking forward to returning for my follow up in a year. I really feel comfortable with Dr. Burns and her team. The environment was very clean, organized and relaxing. Thanks for such great care😊

Root canals are never fun. However, Dr. Burns, her office manager Lisa, and the rest of the staff could not have been more pleasant. Dr. Burns checked every few minutes to make sure I was doing fine. She made the experience easy and comfortable. I have to go back for one more procedure and feel very at ease anticipating that visit. I highly recommend Dr. Burns!

Absolutely horrible, I would never suggest this place. Run as far away and seek an opinion by a qualified doctor while you can! The receptionist was super friendly and professional, but the staff in the back was far from it. The assistant tried to take X-Rays and put me in a lot of pain, showing little sympathy. I was already in pain when I came, so this isn't totally her fault, just very unprofessional and not pleasant. Now to the doctor. Horrible bedside manner and very unfriendly are the best words to describe Malanie Burns. She told me that my root canal would need to be tried over several visits, but couldn't answer how likely it would be to work, or if she'd recommend it over pulling the tooth. My dentist that referred me had already tried the procedure several times unsuccessfully and had already given me the maximum amount of anesthetic possible, but wasn't able to complete the work. I asked her what she could do differently that would make the procedure successful and she looked blankly at me without an answer. She was of no help in deciding what to do whatsoever, but made it sound like it probably wouldn't work and I'd be out the money, in lots of pain for a couple more weeks and still probably need the tooth pulled. When asking her questions, she didn't seem to have the answers, or was reluctant to answer any questions whatsoever. I assume she is a "professional" but you absolutely wouldn't have been able to tell from talking to her. I reluctantly paid the fee for the exam, but will go elsewhere for a real exam and an honest opinion by someone who can be trusted. To top everything off, they also don't validate parking, and the lot requires you to pay cash. Who carries cash these days other than people up to no good?

What can I say! Dr. Burns was recommended to me by an older friend that has had 4 root canals done. I went through a horrible failed root canal experience in Mexico. I could feel almost everything and they didn’t take the nerves out completely. I was very afraid but Dr. Burns numbed me up very well and made sure I felt no pain. Through out the procedure she kept asking me if I was okay. I even fell asleep as I felt nothing! If you are looking for the best root canal specialist please come here. I have already recommended her to my family and friends.

I will 100% recommend Dr. Burns and her team. I visited them from 2014 to 2018, and I am writing a review from about a four-year experience, and I can gladly say this practice is the first teeth-related office I do not feel stressed about visiting. I feel relaxed when going there because of such good care they give you. They are very professional yet kind and nice. Liz is very courteous in person and on the phone. Kashee helps you get settled in calmly and prepares you for your visit. Dr. Burns cautiously and courteously treats you with care. It’s just an amazing experience. The office is also clean! It may be slightly expensive than others, but honestly, it’s worth it. Wishing you the best! Thanks and GOD bless!

The staff is amazing, Dr. Burns is very professional and will take very good care of you. Throughout treatment she will ask you if you are feeling ok. They even offer you juice while you wait fro treatment and afterwards. Dr. Burns assistant is awesome and so is Liz, who works at the front desk. Thank you for all you have done to provide me a better quality of dental life. I highly recommend this facility and specialist if you are in need of a root canal.

Dr. Burns is PHENOMENAL! She has such a warm personality which is just what I needed when getting to the bottom of my toothache. I was pretty nervous about the whole process and ultimately needed a root canal. Thankfully, Dr. Burns made the procedure seamless, and believe it or not, relaxing, regularly checking on me during such. I appreciate the follow-up call and she answered all of my questions, before and after, and she even performed a post-procedure touch-up until I could get back to my hometown for my dentist to put a crown back on my tooth. Any time I called with questions that she needed to answer, she always called back happy to put me at ease. Her staff is also wonderful and I have absolutely no complaints!
