Austin Motel has a super retro vibe that will provide you with plenty of Instagram bangers. Joanne's for breakfast was amazing. We also stayed at the Hotel Saint Cecilia which was as good as it gets. Drinks at San Jose Hotel were great. Bunk House really knows what they are doing.

Best place to stay in austin

This place is great! If you want super modern sleek design, go back to L.A. And stop ruining Austin. If you want funky and cool, stay here and weep with the knowledge that all of Austin used to be like this.

Great location and friendly staff. However, the room wasn't very clean. Our socks were dirty from walking around in the room right away, towels had hair on them, pillow cases has hair and make up or something that looked like makeup. Extra blanket had hair on it, and it just wasn't over all clean.

Fun, funky, retro motel. Close to many eateries, shopping and bars. Very friendly staff.

We loved this Motel! Really great service and they catered to any needs we had. Wayne at the front desk provided especially great service - we were very grateful for him!

Absolutely enjoyed this place to the fullest. It is right by Jo’s, so we went there each more to snag a breakfast taco and coffee. Joann’s is attached to this place, and it is just delicious. The pool was a pretty decent size, and the room was very clean and retro! When we are back in town, we are headed here again. Don’t let the word “motel” fool you! P.S. They have a bar by the pool too.

A highly recommended stay with your favorite gal pal! Everything about this hotel is super cute from the pool, the (24/7) boutique shop, and rooms! (All rooms have their own cute and quirky wallpaper and bright colored furnishings.) The location of this hotel is right off Congress with a lot of restaurants, bars, coffee shops and shops all within walking distance as well.

Best hotel ever! Super unique and the girl at the desk was amazing!! I think her name was Sandra? Im probably wrong... But she helped us out more than she had to. We got stranded there for a couple hours after we had already checked out! She went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of! Even tho we had checked out. This was over 6 months ago ! And she made an impression!! I feel bad i cant remember her name.. But i forgot to write this review. Anyway! AMAZING PLACE. REMINDS ME OF THE 70's which is amazing! Looove it
