I had such a positive experience. I had no experience going in and my instructor (Bryce) was incredible. He was an amazing teacher - very knowledgeable, patient, and super helpful with helping us all learn to ride and taught us techniques to keep us safe on the roads...by the end of day 2 I was very comfortable on the bike. Great curriculum, incredible staff, I would recommend this to anyone and everyone interested in learning or obtaining their license. I will definitely be going back for the advanced courses.

Did the basic MSF course this weekend and had a lot of fun -- our group was working with Vince and he got us up-and-running quick (with most in the group -- including myself -- being beginners). Couldn't ask for a better foundation + experience.
I can highly recommend Austin Moto Academy if you want to get your motorcycle license. I didn't have any experience at all and after two days I feel comfortable enough to go out there and ride a motorcycle. How cool is that? Our instructor Vince really did a great job and made sure that we were safe and had fun right from the start. They train on 125cc bikes but also have two 250cc bikes for more experienced riders. Last but not least, everybody from my class passed the test!
I started with little to no knowledge of motorcycles or proper/safe operations, but left with the skills needed to feel confident enough to begin riding on the streets. Our instructor, Bryce, really worked to teach everyone basic operations and how to practice safe riding in everyday and emergency situations! You can tell he really enjoys passing on what he knows to new riders. I would highly recommend this course for anyone looking to take the first step in getting their motorcycle license.
I just had an incredible weekend with Austin Moto Academy. I never thought a riding or driving course can be such a great experience, I had so much fun with Bryce, our RiderCoach, and the classmates. Bryce is a really nice person and an amazing teacher - very knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. The bikes were all in good working condition with no annoying mechanical issues.
Highly recommend to everyone in Austin area who want to obtain an M license and get comfortable on a motorcycle. This is definitely a great first step in the world of motorcycling.
Truly an outstanding group of instructors. I don't know how they can do this training day in and day out and maintain the professionalism they do. They teach by the book and reinforce the book with real world training. The training is long but required. If you want your endorsement this is where you want to go. They tell you don't be late, and that means don't be late. Nobody wants to wait for you. We had one show up 30 minutes late to the first class and he was given the boot. Bryce and Vince are both dedicated to your success. Everyone passed, and we had multiple people who had never ridden a motorcycle. This school doesn't make its money doing retests like the other school in Austin. They teach you right the first time. The motorcycles are well adjusted so the throttles and clutches are smooth and reliable. The bikes almost drive themselves. Thank you guys!
Awesome class I would recommend to EVERYONE, even if you dont plan on riding a motorcycle ever, this class will also make you a better driver in more ways than one! This class MIGHT just give you a discount on your insurance (car and bike). I had Bryce as my instructor and he was great! Such a super patient, easy going, knowledgeable guy! I have been riding for the better side of 7 years and there are some things you learn in this class I would have never thought about prior. It was also very fun I am currently thinking about taking his next course he offers through 'The Ride Company' and it is less than half the cost of the first course! Now I just need to sign my girlfriend up for the basic rider course, GOOD LUCK.
My girlfriend and I took this course over the weekend in schedule A. It was cold and windy but Vince really made it worth it. He is a great teacher and really instills confidence in those in his class. My class was 3 experienced riders and 4 who have never ridden in their lives. I feel everyone learned something and despite riding dirt for years I feel the experience was invaluable, plus I got my M license!
Just a tip, it seemed like the later starting classes were 100% male and the early 7am class had more females in it, so if you're a woman and hesitant about it, the earlier class might be the way to go! Also - show up 15 minutes early because if you aren't on time you're late, and if you're late you won't be allowed to continue (expensive lesson!)
Thanks Vince!!!
Tons of fun and very informative. Bryce was our instructor and he was awesome, made the whole process very enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone interested in learning to ride. Classes here count towards defensive driving too!
