I really like the teachers that are at Sac State. Other than that, the financial aid office has been awful to deal with. My major advisor completely disappeared and no one at the school bothered to let me know. Maybe I'm just having the worst luck, but I wish I would have gone somewhere else.

Challenging and real world business school; professors who are passionate about business as well as teaching; diverse student body; beautiful campus (trees and squirrels are everywhere); level of education received > the cost. These are just some of the reasons why I am so grateful to have gone to Sac State for my Bachelors degree in Business Administration.

Love this school. Had some really great teachers here, only a few not so good. For the most part they are enthusiastic about what they teach and do a good job helping me understand the concepts. Thats really how I judge a school is the teachers, since I'm here to learn, but this is also a beautiful campus, with one of every state trees growing!

I received an excellent background in Criminal Justice that allowed me to secure a position with the Superior Court of Sacramento. I had some excellent teachers who worked in the field of Criminal Justice, practicing attorneys and members of the Police Department also the FBI. All the faculty, I had the privilege to have, were of outstanding ability in their fields.

My son will soon be graduating high school. As a retired law enforcement officer, he will NOT be applying to this university due to "pig art" the university officials are allowing to be displayed depicting Police Officers as pigs. This is sending the wrong message to students. Good Police Officers put their lives on the line everyday to protect citizens, teachers and students. I wonder how they would feel toward Police Officers if they had an active shooter at the college. Very pathetic and sad.

I am a CSUS graduate and so incredibly proud to be one. I believe this university has set me up for success in the real world. Right out of college i landed an amazing job doing something I really enjoy. The teachers/professors are helpful (well most) and willing to spend extra time with you to ensure you'll succeed. This is a university that cares about their students and i felt that throughout my entire college career. President Nelson is great! As long as you take full advantage of the resources available to you, i assure you, you will do great in college and in life.

I have gotten a great education here over the years, which is one of the reasons I came back for my Masters degree... Now the time comes to graduate, and the fee is outrageously high, as if we haven't paid enough, and for the first time there is a ticket limit, which is extremely low... I think this is really unfair and inequitable. At the very least, the university should look at the number of students for each graduating college and determine how many tickets per graduate would actually fill up Golden 1 Center. Kind of feel like Sac State has rewarded my hard work and loyalty to the school by limiting my ability to share the event with the many people who have supported me along the way.

I’m very proud to be a Sac State Alumni! I worked with different departments because I changed majors and also had a minor, and I have only positive things to say about the people I encounter with!

I just want to say thank you Sacramento State University! You allowed me to see my Lil brother Dontrel William Hairston graduate with a bio-chem degree! I know he could hear me screaming All the way from Ohio! Thank you so much I hated missing it. I will make it out there when he gets his Doctorate! I graduated from CSUS with a music degree...after I had 3 children... and what an exciting time I have had, directing church choirs of all ages, touring with young people, and teaching private voice and piano. Now, I'm working with orphans in several countries. and hopefully will be in India soon. We hope to begin rehearsals for Village Singers International ..... that will serve orphans and impoverished children CSUS prepared me for so many wonderful opportunities.. and the faculty was excellent. Thank you .

I did really enjoy this university. I graduated with a degree in physics and a minor in mathematics with a concentration on scientific electronics and instrumentation. The professors and staff at this university can not be beat. From your professor, to the president of the university, they are all usually willing to listen and help. The only complaint is that parking was awful! There were not nearly enough parking for a commuter college and parking enforcement seemed to enjoy writing as many tickets as they could. Tuition and parking permits are high enough without being fined for tying to make it to class on time. Hopefully this will be slightly alleviated by the new parking structure being built. I am just bummed I graduated before you installed all those new electric car chargers!
