I went for just a walk-in. And I was suppose to wait an hour since they didn’t have the people who can do that, which was okay because I just came in. BUT once an hour past I went back inside and waited another hour.
I got my hair cut and lightened by Lauren Willis and I could not be happier with the way it turned out. She did such an amazing job - it was identical to the pictures we had looked at online. I have never dyed my hair before and she is the only one I would trust with my virgin hair! Thank you, Lauren for such an amazing first experience. You are so incredibly thorough and talented.
I am very impressed with the students at this school! I have had my hair curled twice and my full face make up and lashes, They are skilled, friendly and do great work!
I just want to take a moment and give a big shout out to Ms. Paula, the student who patiently helped me for seemingly hours yesterday. She did my hair and took care of my feet. Most of all, Paula showed kindess and cared. Her gentle manners and her great attention to detail with working with the hair will take her far. I plan to return as they have quite a few things they offer at this place. I hope your experience with this place ends up being as good as mine. They kept it very clean. This was my first time there. When I got their it looked like a group of students were learning the do's and don'ts about hair products and chemicals. A teacher had a white board and kept asking them questions. Paula got called upon to help me. I am so pleased. Thanks again Paula! You really made my day.
I love that place there are always so professional and friendly. I really enjoyed the quality and the time that they put into you my hair .My hair last a very long time without being retouched every time I have Miss Mindy and her students work on me. I appreciate the quality and ethics that they display .I enjoy watching her teach her students while she works on me she's very thorough and professional they display qualities that not a lot of Salon or School display. Kudos for Mindy and her students I recommend her anytime. Oh and the prices are extremely low for the quality of work they do!
So, I am a current night Esthetician student at COBA. I really like the enviroment, the people, the current Esthi instructor. HOWEVER, it is really disappointing that the course is 10grand and we go weeks without product to do facials, wax, sometimes no disinfectant. Those times happen often and keeps us from gaining our points for the day, make the day longer we lose training and a well worth night of hands on learning. We all understand a day or even two from time to time where a school has incidents and run out of product or material needed to provide to their students... but boy, this school has a trend and by no means do they come to us to give us an explanation and we literally chose this school thinking the best and entrusting our future in them and they are taking that for granted. I hope things get better, I will update this review before I graduate.
Very very extremely disappointed, was going here for awhile for root touch up and highlights, I was very specific and clear that I wanted the SAME color. Instructor did NOT follow the previous color and made my roots half a shade lighter along with not doing the roots prior to the highlights leaving my roots clashing and NOT blending in with the highlights of my hair. Also witnessed instructor teach the students what less than mediocrity is in customer service, with being able to do a decent job.
