Dr. Mones and his staff are a wonderful very knowledgeable team. Since I moved to Miami, they are the only practice I use and they fulfill most of my medical needs with excellence.
The office staff was very friendly and there are not many doctors left like Dr. Mones. He is extremely attentive and cares for his patients. He makes himself available at times when other doctors just use their answering service to tell you to go the ER. Dr. Mones is a great doctor and I have no complaints. His office hours accommodate everyone, I cannot ask for more.
I have been to many doctors in my life, alot of them with short wait times some with bad or no knowledge of what they are doing, others really good at their practice and horrible staff. Dr.Harris Mones does not fall into any of those categories except the last one, his waiting times vary, ive been at the clinic for 3 hours before, sometimes ive only waited 5 minutes but once i get called in i'm received by the staff like family, the utmost care is given by everyone in this office from the receptionist to the doctor. They are willing to hear you out on everything from how much you dislike the weather down to your very last concern about your health. The wait times are worth it, the doctor is extremely knowledgeable and ameable, and so are his staff. I have been here over 20 times and I would highly recommend this office.
I had a really good experience everyone was professional and polite took care of me as efficiently as possible. I didn't wait long. Rick is a P.A. there and he was a very knowledgeable and informative Dr. The staff there is great! Very organized. It's nice to go to a Dr. Office that actually cares. Thanks for the great experience I really appreciate everyone's efforts to help me. I will be recommending to friends and family, and I will be back when needed.
Dr. Mones is a great doctor with a great staff. I've been a patient for years. I live in homestead but will travel the distance, past other doctors because of the established rapport. The doctors are very thorough and know me personally, which makes it easy for them to remind me when it's time for my physicals, mammograms and other services. I especially like the ability to schedule appointments when it's best for me (after work until early evenings and even on the weekends). The wait time is very reasonable, considering the time and attention given to each patient, but they still make the wait time comfortable with a beautifully decorated area with television and iPads.
My father and I have been going to Dr. Mones for a couple of years now. He's super sweet and funny. He always makes me feel comfortable and well taken care of. The fact that he also gives out his cell number in case of any questions or concerns is amazing. I don't know of any doctor that does that. I love him so much that I keep coming back and this time took my husband. Now that is where he goes as well. I promise you! you will not be disappointed :)
Great service! I've been going to Dr. Mones' office for almost 6 years and have never had a bad experience. He is thorough and his staff are kind, friendly, and efficient. I love that they are open late a few times a week so I don't have to miss work. Highly recommended...
Wait usually isnt long. Dr. Mones is the best there informative, knowledgeable, caring Dr. After seeing so many different Miami primary care physicians finally found a good one!
Great PA's! However, be very careful, the Dr. & his wife just implemented a new office policy that you have to leave a credit card authorization form with the office in case the tests or services they perform do not go through insurance - they will bill your card!!!! The doctor's wife told me word for word last night, when I refused to fill out the form, that her and her husbands practice was a business! I understand that everyone wants to make money and that is what the medical world has come to. It is very sad that patients don't matter to their doctor's anymore! So my review is that you should be very careful. I assume that this is legal or else they wouldn't be doing it but I would expect that from an urgent care facility. I collected my records and will be searching for another physician to treat me and my family. Very sad and unfortunate!
I have been a patient of Dr.Mones for a few years. About three weeks ago I had an appoint to be checked for my meds to be called in to the pharmacy. During the check up the PA found a problem with my heart beat. They gave me an EKG. After checking it they wanted me to schedule a follow up appointment which I did. Went for my scheduled appointment and was not seen. I waited an hour and fifteen minutes. They move all the patients from the front waiting area to the back waiting area. After more than an hour someone from there office brought forms for everyone to complete. They stated we needed to provide them with our credit card information in case our insurance company did not pay and they would charge our cards. I refused to leave my credit card information in an office that I do not know who would safe guard it. I was informed by another employee that the doctor would not see me if I did not provide the information. I asked about why the delay of seeing scheduled appointments. She stated that they had two patients that came for urgent care that needed to be stitched up. I felt that the doctor was providing the urgent care services more than seeing his all the time patients. I left the office after being told I would not be seen because of my refusal to provide my credit information. Needless to say I was not seen for the follow up of my heart beat. I tried to text the doctor who usually answers his patients but I never got a response. A few days later the office emails me a cardiologist that they thought I should see. They never asked if I had one which I did and scheduled a appointment with. I guess I will not be seen by this doctor anymore since his staff stated he would not see me without providing my credit card information for the office. They never had a problem getting paid by my insurance in the years I saw him. I would advise anyone considering using his services to rethink it and find a doctor who cares about their PCP patients. No one should have to wait more than fifteen minutes after their scheduled time to be seen.
Dr. Mones is among the nicest, most professional and most competent doctors with whom I have ever come into contact. Miami is lucky to have him.
