Treats horses poorly.
AWFUL BUSINESS EVEN MORE HORRIFIC EMPLOYEES! SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE A BUSINESS IN ATLANTA!!! THESE POOR HORSES ARE MISTREATED, ABUSED, AND NEGLECTED AND SHOULD BE TAKEN AWAY FROM THE OWNER CECIL WHITE!!!!
Abuses his horses and rude to people.
All i had to do was walk past the horses to see their condition. Poorly muscled, sweaty, lame, foamy... not to mention their stabling quarters. No horse should have to live like this. None.
I am highly disgusted by the treatment, and condition of these horses. I have been around horses my entire life, and was appalled to see the condition of one horse in particular who began to stomp, winnie, and show signs of pain, and aggravation. Not only was he obviously unhappy, and in pain, but upon closer look I noticed his eyes were blood shot, and he was foaming at the mouth, and began stomping, and tearing his head from any who walked by agressively. This was clearly an unhappy horse, whose condition grew quite a bit of concern from a small crowd of people whom commented on the horses health. None of these people were rude, one in fact was a vet who showed deep concern for this animal. She attempted to speak to the man about the dangers, and risks of the horse being in this condition while being expected to pull carriages. The driver interrupted her, snapped at her loudly and told her the horse was fine. This clearly was not a healthy Horse. I highly recommend this place gets EVERY horse checked, and taken care of properly. I'd also recommend not hiring drivers who sit in the carriages, shoo customers away while on their phone, and plainly does not care about the animals they work with.
I saw a lame horse from Fantasy carriages being forced to work. She was very distressed and nearly collapsed, yet the driver forced her to continue. Another one was salivating and foaming at the mouth. All the horses were distressed and abused. A terrible business!
This guy tells you two hours and then anything after is $100 for the hour and we were set for 3:00 pm then he decides to leave an hour later because he overbooked. My friend has to pay him $350 for 15 mins just to not ruin the wedding. He is a ripoff. Pay extra to a better known company that will take care of heir customers and to what was actually said. Don't deal with him.
Be mindful... I had a driver who told me the ride was one price, and at the end of the ride, he flipped it.. When I ask u upfront I.m looking for the correct answer so I can make my decision, I may not have what u.re asking. Also, while on the ride I was talking to my daughter her upcoming birthday, he interrupted and told me she has a free ride.. Again, at the end on the ride he renigged thinking I forgot, along with the fee he told me prior to the ride... Last when I told him I didn.t have the amount he quoted, he directed me to.the atm machine which was an additional fee not only on that machine, but also my stupid.bank also charge a fee when I use an atm. When I gave him the money, he was trying to be slick with it and send me on my way, No, I need my change.. I was going to tip, I told him I told him I wasn.t going to do.it His deceit on trying to swindle caused him to lose out on that.. B.c. it was my daughter.s birthday, I didn.t want to ruin it, hence me writing out this review... Side note, I failed to ask how long the ride. B.c. I thought it was the carriage company I was following all these years, when he mentioned 5 mins for the price of the trip... Now that was my fault.. I don t know if the other company will charge per head.. That answer will make a determining factor if I will do service with this company or not....
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary I needed to speak with the owner because of a special request, after speaking with the owner he gladly accommodated us. My husband wanted two horses and the owner arrange for us to have the ladies peaches and cream needless to say it was a great evening thanks to Fantasy carriage.
