The Firehouse has been serving the Dallas and Fort Worth metroplex for 15 years, as a gallery supporting local artists, and as working pottery studio.
The pottery produces a wide range of functional, stone ware, all hand made on the pottery wheel as well as more contemporary sculptural clayart.
While visiting the gallery, step into the studio and be hypnotized by the magical powers of the potters wheel.

My wife and I took a lesson this past week. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we signed up for more classes. Keith is an extremely patient instructor. His teaching style of one-on-one provided us with excellent support while exploring our own creativity. I just cannot say enough great things about our experience there. We are so looking forward to our next class. Taking the lessons as a couple makes it really fun because we get to watch each others creation take form. It amazed me that even with the exact same instruction our first items look so totally different. Of course, hers is MUCH nicer than mine! ;)
I heard about Firehouse Pottery & Gallery when Keith ordered window shades from the company where I work, and what started out as business as usual turned into something just awesome! My colleague and I ended up ordering mugs, which just arrived yesterday, and they are so, sooo beautiful. Keith even made us a beautiful vase featuring our business's logo!! Seriously made our week, if not month. An amazing business, run by caring and truly talented folks. I'll be back to buy more mugs at the holidays! Thank you!
We came in for our ninth anniversary and we could not be more pleased with our experience! Keith is a wonderful instructor and made everything so easy (relatively speaking of course ;P I'll never look at a 'simple' vase the same way again!) and we're coming away with beautiful pieces that we'll treasure forever! I had my second lesson with Keith this past Friday. Keith is a very knowledgeable teacher and very patient with his students. He helps you with the feel of the clay. When you listen to him and do what he says you have a great chance of making a successful vessel. No not a perfect vessel, but a very useful one. I feel it will take lots and lots of practice to become a successful potter. I look very forward to my next lessons. I love the one on one help he gives. I have great confidence in Keith.
I tried pottery yesterday for the first time with a friend. Keith was very patient and kind. I love the fact that his classes are small which allows him to provide each participant with support along the way. Keith was very encouraging!! I will definitely go back.
We had a fantastic time! The owner himself took the time to make sure our first experience went well and it did. Lots of fun.

Keith is such a wonderful teacher! He is patient, encouraging, and ready to celebrate your work when you finish. I have taken a private lesson and a lesson with a friend, and both were really fun.
