I was out of the country when our Ford Fusion broke down on my wife. She brought it into Gene's and the diagnosis meant significant work. Being in a pinch and with me out of the country, we had to put our full faith in Gene's reputation. The car now runs as smooth as I've ever known it. I don't want to say it was easy, as the guys at Gene's would probably agree, but Jason and his team took care of us the way that only a family-run shop can, and I am ever grateful for that.

Had my Saab in for a coolant leak issue after an ice related accident. They looked it over the next morning, accessed the damage, and gave me an estimate. I ended up having to take my car to my insurance's required collision center, but the staff at Genes was extremely friendly and helpful. Appreciate their time so much

Finding a trustworthy auto mechanic is akin to a finding a needle in a haystack. Gene's Auto Repair in Boulder IS that needle. Every time I take my vehicles there I am treated like family. You simply cannot go wrong in working with this amazing shop.

I went in to get a new fender liner, they were the most reasonably priced shop in all of Boulder, and they also fixed my hanging fender for free. Can't say enough about how great they are. Best prices in Boulder!

Have been having my cars serviced at Gene's for years for all the obvious reasons - great service, honesty and reasonable prices. Stopped in the other night at closing time just to get some air in a low tire. They offered to quickly fix the tire for me at no charge. Unfortunately I couldn't take them up on the kind offer as I was late for an appointment. But that offer shows what kind of folks they are!

Gene's auto is the best mechanic shop that I have been to. This family run joint is so helpful and friendly, and made my experience so easy for someone that doesn't know a lot about cars. I recently bought a used car and they were instrumental in helping me avoid bad cars, knowing what to look for, and they even waived the price of inspection on a car that I brought in since I had been struggling with my search. The Curran's definitely know how to run a business, as they value the customer and level of service far more than simply making money. Quality service at an affordable price! Will be returning.

Although I didn’t get my car fully serviced here, Gene’s tightened my battery for free and I really do appreciate that since I didn’t have any tools. If I ever need service in Boulder, I’m coming to Gene’s!

I always receive the best service here! Jason is who I usually interact with, and he's always extremely pleasant and easy-going. They do timely work for a reasonable price, and they have helped me in small ways for no charge before. I never feel like they're just trying to squeeze money out of me because I'm a woman, which is one of my biggest pet peeves at car shops. Thank you guys for 3+ years of awesome service!
