I've been going to this restaurant for like 4 years now. I love this place for their banku and okra soup, It takes about 30 min from hyde park to get there but I don't mind the drive. I'll give it 4 star for now, when they start accepting cards or zelle I'll give it a 5.

A great place for regional Ghanaian cuisine! I stumbled upon this gem randomly after moving to the neighborhood. The Food takes a while to prep since it's freshly made to order, but it is worth every minute of wait. I'd recommend turkey tail as appetizer, and Fufu with goat for main dish. Tip: the food is delightfully spicy

I had the goat meat light soup with fufu and it was delicious! The meat was very tender and the soup was a little spicy with lots of flavor. Can't wait to go back! Yum yum yummy!

Authentic African (Ghanaian) cuisine with decent menu variety and small dine-in space. Soup dishes tend to be on the spicy side. Limited street parking. You’ll be lucky to get someone on the phone but if you’re on-site you’re be please with the food!

Of course it’s me again, with some more Waakye. This is a must when I go to Ghanaian restaurants. Grace’s African Restaurant did not fail me with this delicious tasting Waakye.

The staff was quiet, but very friendly and the food was pretty good. I had a friend in middle school who I used to go home with after school and she always had awesome African food. I haven't seen her in years or had those meals since, but I saw on Grace African Restaurant's menu that they had some of the same recipes my friend used to make for me. I knew I had to go and try that food again after all these years. It was just an awesome meal and a trip down memory lane for me. I recommend this place!
