A special place indeed for guitar lovers. Not every major brand but all the key players. Friendly and welcoming staff too. I was encouraged and trusted to play even some high value instruments.
Unbelievable place. Was In search of a D28 they had dozens. Great store great service. Waited years to get this guitar. They understand. Could not have picked a better place to go
Great selection of vintage guitars. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Wish the prices were closer to my affordability range.
We were in Nashville on other business, and blew off some other organized fun to go play "guitar tourists." Our first stop was Gruhn Guitars. The selection was great, and the staff had a, "feel free to play anything" attitude. It was a good visit and well worth the trip.
Always love stopping in when we are in town. Gruhn is more than guitars. They’re friendly helpful people who love the music. Whatever you need, they can help.
Trip to Gruhn guitars was an event . Took a 1968 Gibson es335 in for an appraisal . I was with 2 non musician types that couldn't understand why I hauled a guitar all the way from Atlanta and why we had to go across town . I told them this place is totally legit - real rock star types come here . We walk through the door and there is Tommy Shaw from Styx . SEE!!! I told you . Great experience and solid appraisal - THANKS !!!!
This is a great store. Great space, amazing selection and very helpful and friendly staff. I didn’t make a purchase but if I was in the market for a vintage guitar this would be the place.
For any musician, there are certain shops that are Mecca’s; simply the best at what they do. Gruhn Guitars is one of them. Every one of the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, letting me try different guitars and amps. Had I not already bought a superb guitar from Dan Strain, I would’ve walked out with vintage beauty. In short: go. It’s the best shop in Nashville, and that’s saying something.
Of course it was fabulous. Very nice people along with a beautiful store. I didn't see much in the line of amplifiers but the acoustics were plentiful. Prices were good for what I saw there. I currently am playing a Blues King acoustic that a friend got from there. Set up was amazing.
Heaven for any guitar player. I probably spent 5 hours here, played $100,000 worth of different guitars, and asked the staff a lot of questions. Everyone working there was pleasant, passionate about guitars and not at all pushy to make a sale. I left, visited 6 other guitar shops in Nashville, came back, played a few guitars head to head in a sound booth, and ended up buying the perfect instrument for me (and not the brand I set out expecting to buy either! ). Six months later still very happy with the purchase and I wouldn't have got there without the patience and experience of the staff. Any time I'm back in Nashville I will be here again.
