This by faaaar, the greatest guitar store in the Bay Area, and I've literally been to them all. The amount of merchandise--especially pedals (boutique and other)--is unmatched. Not to mention a selection of very high quality amps and a smaller collection of top notch guitars. Finally, the customer assistance is amazing. The boss, Bryan, literally spent about 4 hours going over pedals, guitars, and amps personally. Seriously, this is the best store for guitarists you can find! (They also have an excellent online shopping operation if you prefer to order online instead of stopping by the store).
Do you need pedals? Yes? No? Go there anyways. So many pedals in the back. Very friendly staff helped me get the right components for a new board and walked me through most of their inventory. It's substantial. Guitar selection is quite good too. Very little in terms of single coils, but a big array of fantastic Suhr (Nash and others) that make this a great spot to try and find a great and unique guitar or pedal. They even have a huge selection of pickups, including Lindy Fralin!
Amazing customer service. Helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Love the selection of Lollar, Fralin, and David Allan pickups! They walked me through their stock and I was blown away with the amount of boutique items they carried on hand. I'm a fan.

I was looking for an authorized Origin Effects dealer online, and found some great reviews posted about Vision Guitars, so I placed my order with them. Well, the great reviews were correct! Excellent dealer who took care of me, and I will do business with them again! Highly recommended!!!
I’m so glad I found this spot. Great selection, more like a warehouse than other music stores. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. They could use a register system to ring up in store sales, but that didn’t bug me.

Very nice little shop. The owner and the staff know guitars, pedals and amps inside out. Great selection of higher end guitars, including Suhr and B&G, and immense selection of pedals. They can also fix your gear if you've lost a screw or broke a pot, or want new fancy pickups.
A guitar players dream shop. From replacement parts to top of the line amps and guitars, this is the place to go in Nor Cal.
