Nancy and her team at Heartland are phenomenal photographers and videographers! Their team performed our video and photos for our wedding. I also own a photo booth business in which to her I have recommended many, many satisfied clients. She has been in business for 30 years in the Kansas City metro area and has worked at just about every single venue in town, which enables her to make expert decisions when it comes to lighting, etc. I would recommend Heartland Images to anyone who wants professional, high quality photos and/or videos.
Extremely professional, very easy to work with and uncompromising artists. You WILL get beautiful photographs if you use Heartland Weddings Photography. They were our choice for our wedding and from day one I was not disappointed. This is not just about someone coming out with a camera and shooting pictures, this is about professionals that have been in the business for many years (for obvious reasons) that know how to work with you and any venue you choose (this is an important thing) and have the artistic talent to capture "that" shot over and over again. Choosing Heartland Photography was one of the best wedding decisions we made. Nancy and her crew displayed the utmost level of professionalism and creativity to give us wedding memories that will last a lifetime! Nancy was able to deliver amazing shots of special poses and locations we asked for on a hot summer day, plus implemented her own creative photography ideas to create beautiful wedding photos. She also had our back three years after our wedding when our photo CD was lost in a move, and she provided an additional CD, no problem! We love our wedding album and wedding video she made, and will cherish them forever!
Nancy did our engagement photos and they turned out extremely well. She is very professional, and has a lot of good ideas for shots and definitely knows what she is doing. Highly recommended.

Nancy from Heartland Weddings was the photographer at my wedding 22 years ago. She did such an amazing job that 22 years later, while planning my daughter's wedding, we knew that if she was still in business she would be the one. To our delight, we found Heartland Weddings right away. We met with Nancy & she showed my daughter many different albums, slideshows and other examples of her work. Boy have things changed in the last 22 years. I love & cherish my wedding album but these new albums available today are a work of art. However, the album can only be as good as the pictures themselves. We could only imagine how Nancy's skill has grown in all this time. We were not disappointed. She was wonderful at the wedding putting everyone at ease . She directed the whole picture taking process and we were through in no time. We picked up the wedding album this morning and my daughter's tears of joy were all this mother could ask for, two generations of satisfied clients. Going to stick around Nancy and go for a 3rd?
Thanks to Nancy, even my simple and intimate wedding at a small venue was made extra special, elegant and MAGICAL. Our photos came out so beautiful, it makes me shed tears every time I look at my precious memories. The service she provided was spectacular! Nancy more than delivered. I would say for just 2 hours of coverage she was able to capture every single detail of my wedding. She knows exactly what she's doing and she is very professional and fun to work with during the entire process. Nancy is very flexible in regards to a bride's demands and expectations. She listens and pays attention to the couple and all requests. I enjoyed my wedding so much I didn't even have to think and stress out mostly, because I felt her confidence on my big day! Nancy Kerr did my engagement, wedding, and my two maternity photo shoots. She is extremely talented. She has an eye for photography like no one I've ever known. She poses photos, but she's also great at capturing candid photos. I LOVE the various types of photos she takes. I know she specializes in weddings, but honestly, after looking at her work I think she specializes in many areas. The lighting, the angles, her ability o work with children; I feel like there's never a bad picture. Nancy also has fun while she's taking photos. She makes it a pleasurable experience for all involved! She has captured all my special moments. I am thankful for her ability and her talent regarding her photography skills. It was nice knowing that I never had to worry about my photos turning out perfectly, and they always did. I would recommend her to anyone! My daughter, granddaughter, and I recently enjoyed a photo shoot with Nancy. She is so very talented and made each of us genuinely smile and feel comfortable. Nancy is my go-to photographer. Engagement photos, family photos, wedding photos, sweet 16 photos. We have friends who offer to "shoot" us for cheap or free and it just isn't the same. Her quality is second to none.
