There are a lot of good midwifes in the metroplex, if you have to drive a distance, please do so because the Midwifes at this birth center are NOT!!!! PArticulary the owner is VERY RUDE!!! She does not give good personal care, most of the time she has her student midwife do the appointments. You will have no relationship with her whatsoever until the birth and if you make it that far, she has the worst bedside manner. THE WORST!!!!! If you have any medical concerns whatsoever Don't even bother to call her she gets infuriated and tells you to go "GOOGLE IT!" Oh, I'm so sorry to have bothered you, wait I am a paying customer, aren't I ???? The only reason why I chose to write this review is to warn you to read between the lines. She presents herself well in the interview and will answer all of your questions the way she thinks you want her to answer them, but once you have paid more than half of your bill or reached 32 weeks (read her contract carefully) ...after that her demeanor changes. She could care less about her patients all she cares about is the money. THAT IS ALL SHE CARES ABOUT IS MONEY!!!! She will even skip doing routine blood work and procedures to save money...she doesn't care about what is best for you as a patient, HELL NO!! All she cares about is MONEY. I have never been treated the way she treated me. If I was her I would NEVER be caught dead talking to a client/patient the way she does, it is an OUTRAGE!!!! Please be very careful, Birth is a beautiful experience and it is so much better if you love your midwife, please do your research.

Don't use this birth center, don't use her dormitory. I am pleading with you. Above all, Nigerian expecting mothers run far. She is so cool before she gets your money then before the money expires, she get frustrated about you and don't no what to do with you. She is rude, arrogant and I doubt her health status. She made me sick to my stomach and I am ashamed to tell my daughter she was delivered here.

Tina is the best mid wife I could have ever had. We are so grateful that we had our lil baby here. I will be going to her for my 2nd baby. She knows so much and she's so helpful. I couldn't have had a baby without her telling me all the way though that I can do it. Thank u.

This is my third baby but my first time at an birthing center! I enjoyed Tina and the team and the entire experience overall! They all reassured me in my fears and helped me understand the differences between the hospital and center! They were completely thorough when it came to taking care of both me and my baby post delivery! Thanks guys!!! 😍

I am a student midwife working under Tina at Heavenly Hands Birth Center. My journey with Tina so far has been great! She is wealth of knowledge. With her clients she is supportive, transparent, loving, caring and professional. What more could you ask for in a midwife. At her beautiful birth center you will feel at home and at ease knowing everything is being taken care of seamlessly. It has been an honor working under Tina and I look forward to all that I will be able to learn from her in the future.

I have had all 3 of my sweet babies at Heavenly Hands. Tina is an amazing midwife! She always makes me feel comfortable and safe in her care. She hires the best student midwives, and I have as much faith in them as I do her. Wonderful experience!! If you are wanting an all natural birth then I highly recommend them. We love our midwife!!

Throughout my pregnancy, labor & delivery and postpartum experience, Tina was extraordinary! I received the best care throughout, and heard exactly what I needed to hear to help achieve the birth of my dreams. I feel much healthier having birthed at Heavenly Hands. Tina empowers parents throughout all the stages and has a passion and knowledge for pregnancy and birth. Plus, the birth center is beautiful!

It been many years since I’ve worked with Tina. I would never go back to her. I would like to keep this as polite as I can while still offering a review that will be useful. I felt talked down to while in her “care.” I never felt as if she cared. And when I had my miscarriage her reaction was along the lines of “I’m sorry if you ever need me again let me know.” The following days were so hard and I had so many questions but felt like we were done. I felt like something wasn’t right and when I called back in she just told me it’s all to be expected. Then I had a very serious hemorrhage at home. I don’t feel as if she paid attention to detail and I also feel as if she missed out on catching some early sighs of miscarriage and signs of trouble after because she felt superior. It seemed as if she didn’t put much stock in what I had to say. At times she even went as far as to argue over details with me. After some healing time I reached out with some constructive criticism. She was too prideful to accept it. Since then I’ve had three babies with other midwives. The level of care I have received since has gone even further to highlight the poor service I received from Tina. I don’t trust her. To be fair quite some time has passed since I was in her care. People can change. I know a lady that uses her and is pleased. If you decide to use her please be cautious. Speak up for yourself and be heard. And if you are not happy then change midwives. Trust your gut.
