The line was around the corner but moved fast. The servers were so nice & friendly. There are a lot of topping options. They serve beer. It's cash only & they have seating upstairs. Loved it!

Amazing philly steak with whiz! We went around 9:30 and it was quiet so we didn’t have to wait long, but my only complaint was that I felt rushed through and didn’t get to order everything I wanted. Staff was really nice and they were all dancing while cooking and cleaning, overall great environment in lively area.

Best Cheese Steak hands down! Plus you can wash it down with cold beer. Plenty of seating upstairs. Very clean and staff moves you through the line quickly so no wait

First Philly cheese steak was not bad. Long queues so got a great rep. Told it was the best in town. Deffinatly worth a visit for good cheese steaks. Funny staff.

We waited for 40 minutes in line because it’s locally famous. Honestly, I didn’t think it was the best Philly cheese steak I’ve had. We also had to wait for seating in the dining area once we got our food.

Comparatively Jim's steaks outdoes Pat's or Gino's steaks hands down. You go to Pat's or Gino's because your a tourist or just out of tradition not because you are hungry. Just remember that when you go to Jim's know how to order, they have their own traditions as well. Good steaks but there are better in the city.

We were told this was the best place for cheese steaks... And they were so delicious! Didn't get to any other cheese steak places to compare, but I usually don't really like cheese steaks, and these were so good! Got there a little after they opened on Sunday morning, and there wasn't much of a line yet thankfully. I got a cheese steak with extra whiz, onions and peppers... Really hit the spot after a night out in Philly for our bachelorette weekend!

Quick blunt service. Get in get your food and get out. They have been around for a while so there were a lot of celebrity autographed pictures on the wall saying how great the food was. I got the classic cheese stake. It was goo but not great. Somebody told e the line can be out the door sometimes so if your trying to go, make sure you go at the right time.

The downstairs is a bit crowded. It's strange that you walk through their prep area to get to the stairs to go to the seating. There really isn't seating for people unable to make it up stairs. The food was pretty good. It's a quick service place with a fun staff

Great experience. Clean place, friendly staff, fresh ingredients, plenty of seating upstairs. The steak was nice and lean and not overcooked. The cheese ratio was great and the peppers were decent. I look forward to returning.
