I have a 1970's vintage Banjo which was out of adjustment. I visited with 4 Luthiers in town and ended up trusting my instrument to the care of Mr. Christian Lawrence at Lucci Music. He did an excellent job repairing my instrument! Try him; you will be glad you did. Mark D. Moore

Took a guitar in for some TLC and string replacement after a few years of idly sitting on a stand. Not only was the clean, restringing and eventual stock adjustment quick, but also quite affordable. Special thanks to Christian for contacting me ahead of time to let me know the guitar needed an extra adjustment. Would highly recommend to anyone that needs a guitar adjusted, restringed or simply cleaned.

I looked into Lucci Music many hours before deciding Lucci Music would be in my best interest for my son’s future for piano lessons. From scheduling the free session with the piano instructor, to receiving an email and text message confirming our session today, I felt Lucci Music was in the most professional place and that’s exactly where I wanted my son to be. Many hours of research on the Lucci Music website all the way to reading other reviews, checking out their social media accounts and even found a YouTube video of a 4 year old boy playing piano and singing at a annual concert (which is also mentioned on the website). I was 100% sure this would be the place my son would grow and learn how to play piano perfectly. Well... I was a little disappointed in our first session. My son, 4 (will be 5 next month) was so patient, kind, well behaved and took to the piano right away. The instructior even complimented my son so many times and even expressed to my husband and I that he was born with talent as he was so delicate playing beautiful sounds on the piano keys. My husband and I are very familiar with music as I am a singer and my husband is a drummer. However, we were denied business and referred to some church (that the instructor used to work for and always sends business that way apparently if your child is in the younger range) that has music “play” sessions where a bunch of kids dance and beat on play instruments... if I wanted my son to be in a lesser class not learning much at all, please trust me when I say I would have never scheduled this session. Lucci Music is said to be the best music lessons in town and when it comes to me spending money, I’m only going for the BEST. I was very excited for today and now I just find myself upset that my money was turned down. Also, not to mention that I am also a little concerned for the piano instructior as she could barely walk. She suggested that we should wait until my son is in 1st grade (2 years from now) before he is ready to take 45 minute lessons which blows my mind because I spent so much time looking into Lucci Music before I decided this is definitely the place I want my son to be. The website mentioned ages 4 and up. Also, as mentioned above, their one good YouTube video is of a 4 years old (who I assume attended Lucci Music) was playing piano and singing at an annual concert that they have. I’m mind blowned to be honest. Turn money away when I would have been perfectly happy with my son learning how to play anything at all such as “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” for 2 years until the instructor thought he was “ready” to actually learn the actual note part of playing the piano. Other than us being turned away, I don’t think this review deserved 1 star due to the fact that everything up until the actual session was highly professional.

Nice instruments not a big selection of brass instruments. Was greeted promptly. They do have some really nice string and percussion instruments.

Had a terrible experience at this store. I called to get a price to re-pad a flute and they quoted me around $70 and a week to get it done. Other shops in town were at least double that for price and time so I dropped it off right away. They told me they would call the repairman to pick it up asap. A week goes by and I call the store to find out the status and first off, I can't ever get anyone on the phone so I leave a couple of messages. No one calls me back so I call again and finally get someone to answer but they don't know, they'll have to check w/the repairman and get back to me. Well, that doesn't happen so I finally get the repair man's # and call him directly. He answers and said he just picked it up (9 days after I dropped it off) and it would be $250+. I told him the shop had quoted me $70 and he said the shop should not have quoted me a price. I decided not to pursue the work and went to pick up the flute. I had also paid a $30 diagnostic fee (which is apparently a pickup/deliver fee) and Lucci Music will not refund the fee despite the misinformation and the run-around I was given. Will never go to this store again or recommend it to anyone.

I had Lucci Music repair the electronics on my Fender Strat, set up the pick ups and change the strings. The service was fast, well done and reasonably priced. I would definitely use them again.

If you need any work done on any of your instruments take it in to Christian. He has done several guitars for me now and they always come out pristine. The rest of the staff there are very knowledgeable and always have the right attitude towards any situation. They do lessons there as well and the instructors that I've met are incredible! Best in town, hands down!
