I started calling around to the bartending schools in Southern California and found that this was the cheapest place around... and I now know why. I didn't think I got any where near enough knowledge from this course to even be able to jump behind a bar and be able to work. It also wasn't the cleanest place which I would think for having to be in the food and beverage industry it should be spotless. its located in a strip mall for goodness sakes! They didn't help me with any type of job placement like was told to us. Im very disappointed in this course, and I will not be suggesting this place to any one. Total waste of money. I guess you get what you pay for huh? The cheapest place is not always the best place, I can only think that this price was made up for what it is for a reason. if I could mark this as 0 stars I would. Very disappointed.

Stellar course, cram-packed with useful knowledge from an experienced bartender! Arnie is not only an expert in what he does, but is also passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with his students. I looked forward to going in to class every night, even after a full day of sitting behind a desk! Carmela is also super friendly and helpful, and did a great job keeping me updated on course information. This class is well worth the money, and is a great time whether you end up going into the industry or not. Highly recommend it!

I looked up bartending school and a lot popped up, after looking at websites and reviews I went with MOB. By far the best decision I made, I took a 2 week course that included a bar kit, it was perfect. The knowledge and information that was taught was hands down amazing, 1 week after passing the exam, taking my food handlers safety test and my TIPS test. I landed a bartending job which further shows that the knowledge I had been taught was on point. If you are looking for a great trainer and a amazing school, I highly recommend Master of Bartending.

I took the course as a refresher to increase my speed and accuracy etc. Great experience! Arnie is a great instructor. The facility which allows you to pour and practice is awesome. Great location. I highly recommend!!

After taking a traditional bartending class from another school in SD, I personally did not feel ready to jump behind the bar. I'm a bar fly and while I appreciate what I learned from my first school (which had outdated recipes) I still felt the need to further my education. I was so happy to find master's of bartending. From the first day I explained that I had taken a bartending class before but didn't recognize a majority of the drinks. Once I looked at the book I was given for my two week course at master's I finally saw recipes for drinks I know are commonly ordered. My instructors were very inviting and made me feel comfortable even asking what I assume are stupid questions. They allowed me to work at my pace and went above and beyond to help me learn the curriculum. I ended up taking the hardest test which I never thought I was capable of. I now bartend at one of the busiest bars in Clairemont during the peak hours on weekends, high volume, with live music. I owe praise to master's for the connections the school has offered me and the network master's has provided. If you are interested in the bartending industry or just learning how to make drinks, I highly recommend master's of bartending. Wish I discovered them first

Love love love this class!!! Arny is a great instructor! Great attitude, and very knowledgeable in the field. I took his 2 week course and I can honestly say I left with the fundamentals to help start in the bar industry. For anyone looking to get into the bar industry I highly recommend taking Arny’s 2 week course. It’s offered both in the am and afternoons. It’s all hands on and you also get to learn the more popular drinks! Definetly worth my time and money !

Took the two-week Industry-certified course and felt so confident going into the finals on the last day of class. Arny prepares you so well and really brings a lot of fun and flair to class. Highly recommend to anyone looking into bartending in San Diego!

I'm a graduate from multiple institutions I have a BA and AA. I am a proud graduate from Masters of Bartending School. I am now currently in the field of bartending. I truly believe, that out of all of my education, this was the most current and valuable information for this particular field. the instructor, Arnie was extremely knowledgeable and gets you ready for what to expect. The "little" techniques have honesty double my tips not only with drink making but also with keeping conversations with my customers. Thank you for the education and helping me with the job that I currently hold, bartending for San Diego's major venues with a country wide employer. There is so much more to talk about and praise, however you will see for yourself the family you will become part of when you join the Masters!
