Mixology student here. Mike and ‘Smart and Sexy’ Bryan are phenomenal teachers. Absolute genuine people who want you to strive. You will learn something new every second of the class, though a lot of information they will make sure you get every drop of it in your head. You might struggle to understand Bryan’s ‘New Jersey’ accent (all jokes) he is very knowledgeable. Mike shows tough love but extremely caring, he will always check to see if you are doing well. You can tell he is cheering you on silently. Check this place out, you will definitely learn something new and make new friends!

If I could give more than five stars I would. After visiting several other bartending schools in the city, I came to NY Bartending School, sat in on a class, and within the first minute was certain that this was by far the best place for me: incredibly professional, and at the same time fun. Mike is a phenomenal instructor, who creates a fun working environment, while maintaining a (positively) critical attitude--he will tell you each and every mistake you make because he truly wants you to succeed. And Bryan is simply a master when it comes to knowledge of wine and spirits; learning under him was an absolute pleasure. The course requires a lot of engagement and hard work, but I left with the confidence and knowledge to pursue a career in bartending. I cant wait to go back to practice and continue to learn!

I did the 2 week course and learned so much! I don't even drink and I still enjoyed the class and always had a great time. I highly recommend this school as they are super flexible and understanding. This was a great graduation gift and I loved learning something new. The staff really go above and beyond to help their students. They give you all the tools you need and really help you from the ground up.

I cannot say more amazing things about this place! This is more than just a school, it’s a family. Not only did I gain some incredible knowledge, but I made some lifelong friends. The Instructors are incredibly intelligent and friendly. That doesn’t mean they don’t mean business! I took the one week bartending course and loved it so much that I signed up for a second week of Mixology. I was not disappointed! All in all, I give this school 5 stars(100 if I could) and highly recommend you come to this school and try them out if you want to learn a new skill and some intriguing history. I enjoyed the curriculum greatly and will recommend this course to anyone who has an interest to bartending or just want to further his knowledge on their bar beverages. All instructors were professional and knowledgeable. Great instructors passionate to teach their students to be successful. The curriculum was very comprehensive to allow students learn about all areas of drinks and preparation and liquors. After the course, students will have acquired a fortified knowledge base to further investigate additions topics of their interests. The instructors were always there to discuss additional topics going beyond the amazing curriculum. This is stuff you can't get from any textbook or by watching youtube videos!

I highly recommend NY Bartending School. I just completed the Mixology course and can testify to the depth of knowledge giving. Bryon is extremely knowledgeable and delightful to learn along with. He has a way of building up and bringing out the best within the students.

I really enjoyed coming to this school. The tests are challenging, but it is worth it if you really want to learn the right way to become a bartender. Bryan and Alex are genuine people and they will answer any questions you have. Also, if you ever want to come and practice bartending their door is always open. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to become a bartender.

I came into New York Bartending School not expecting to learn so much and have this much fun. Bryan is extremely passionate about teaching and gets to know his students on a personal level. My friend and I took the mixology course, and learned not only to make the drinks but tasted them too (and he’s quite generous with the wine tasting ;)). The facilities here are really nice, and everybody gets their own bar to practice on. I definitely recommend this place. ☺️

If you're thinking of taking the bartending/mixology course here, do not hesitate and register for it! Alex and Brian are wonderful instructors and you learn so much from them. The learning environment is great and everyone is so friendly and nice. I met so many cool people and made a bunch of friends. This is the best bartending school you could go to!

I would recommend this school to anybody that's willing to commit and wants to learn a new trade. I took the one week bartending course and loved it. They allow you to make up classes, which I liked a lot ! Mostly because my schedule would constantly change lol. Everyone was extremely nice but it was also about business at the same time. Two of the instructors were really nice and helpful, Mike gave good tips/advice. His teaching method was very clear and easy to understand. Alex was really funny and would explain things where it just clicked into your head and made sense and this helped relieve the pressure from doing the speed exam. If you want any more information I would recommend you giving them a call.
