Michael wants you to succeed not only in your short or long term goals of fitness, but in every aspect of life. If you are looking to build muscle, lose weight, or even just to find a routine in the gym that works for you, Michael Moody can do this. He cares about all aspects of your goals, from nutrition and finding the right diet to any mental blocks you have towards insecurities of working out. I would recommend anyone new or even ten years into gym/training because he can do it all. Thanks Michael!

Michael is the best trainer in Chicago! He takes the time to listen to you wants and concerns about working out and creates a fitness/health journey for you. Michael is focused on putting you on a path of wellness vs just a simple workout. This is the key to living a happy and healthy life. After recovering from hip surgery the previous year, I was looking for a trainer to get me over the mental hurdle of working out again. I happened upon Michael Moody and am incredibly grateful that I did. Michael has a very thoughtful and well-rounded approach to training and teaching. He is clearly passionate about his work and invested in his clients' health -- and he's a kind and all-around great guy to boot. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed working out with Michael. He pays great attention to having you do the workouts in proper form, he's knowledgable, will put together a tailored program based on your goals and what's right for you, and he's encouraging. I also enjoyed receiving informative articles from him. The facility is small, but clean and the staff are friendly. The locker rooms are tiny! A good thing about the facility is that there's parking so you don't have to worry about that.

Excellent experience. Michael developed a more efficient exercise plan for me that targeted specific issues I had flagged during our initial meeting (lower body weakness from ACL surgery, lower back pain, etc.). He introduced me to new ways of thinking about my body mechanics--both while exercising and during my day-to-day activities--and his coaching on proper diet really compelled me to make major changes in the way I eat. Thanks, Michael.

Michael is fantastic trainer who genuinely wants his clients to succeed in reaching their goals, both inside and outside of the gym. I saw him once a week for three months. I enjoyed his emphasis on overall life style changes (and how easy they can actually be!), as well as fitness. He has a clear understanding of how the body works, and more importantly he took the time to help me understand my body movements and signals before, during, and after workouts. I went into the training expecting to only improve my strength, but I was pleasantly surprised to leave with more than that. I can happily say that working with Michael had an overall positive impact on both my mental and physical health.

Michael is like a walking motivational quote, I feel stronger emotionally and physically every time after training with him. Monday it'll be this quote: “If you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done.” - Thomas Jefferson Wednesday it'll change to this one: “You must expect great things of yourself before you can do them.” - Michael Jordan In a nutshell I just like myself more after training with him.

Training sessions with Michael are effective and informative! I’ve worked with multiple personal trainers before and they typically only focus on breaking a sweat, not on building understanding of the body and having good form which has caused injuries. Michael is great at personalizing every session based on your own needs and building natural strength through good exercises. I’ve been able to improve my own workouts after training sessions with Michael and have already seen great results in a short amount of time. I would highly recommend Michael if you’re looking for training sessions that increase your knowledge and generate results.

I started working with Michael at the beginning of this year and couldn’t be happier! He developed a customized exercise routine and has been holding me accountable to it every week.
