The Missouri Athletic Club is stunning. I have lived in St. Louis my whole life and never been here. It's located downtown. There is parking next to the Club. There is a hotel located on the top floor. The decor was beautiful and the staff was friendly. I was there to get my fingerprints done for my employer, therefore, I was only there for about 8 mins. I would definitely love to go back to stay and enjoy what this hidden gem has to offer.
Excellent food, drink service and friendly polite staff. Rooms were contemporary while remaining classy and elegant. The selection of cigars at the front desk was well rounded with a variety of different brands and sizes to choose from. Truly more than just a stay at a hotel, it was an experience
Very comfortable, quite, good food and service. Used to have two or three rooms for over night accommodations, not sure if still available. The Club is private, one need to be a member for admittance.
Had a great event at the Club. Parking was easy and close. The food served was really good. The event we had (Lotus Ball fundraiser for Safe Connections) was a success and the location was great for it.
Quite a nice place to stay with a reasonable price. Excellent location with plenty of choice for dining. Minute walking distance to the metro, bed is comfy. However, the room was not sound proofing, noise on the street during mid night. Some bed bug issue which was not really expected in such a premium sport club. And please be reminded the dress code is kind of formal, make sure you do dress well to make yourself fit in the site.
We visited with Linda in sales to tour the banquet room for my daughters wedding. Linda was extremely helpful, answered all of our questions and provided all the information we needed. Great experience.
If you are not a member DO NOT stay at this place! I stayed there with my with and the experience was terrible. the room next to us partied all night long. Males who who were visiting the occupants were loud and calling women B*tches and swearing early into the morning. After being alerted, security did not make the non occupants leave. the next day, when i was away from the room, the Males again were calling women b*tches and calling my wife one for complaining. We were told by the management that the room was reserved by a member so they will not do anything. My wife asked them what would have happened if the males had attacked her, the manager replied, "we protect our members." and kept saying "members are treated differently." They wouldn't even alert the member to what his guests were doing because, "we protect our members." DO NOT stay here especially if you have a family!
Thoughtful staff and always clean facilities. Great environment to work out. I love the new EV parking!
The shared spaces are enchanting - especially with holiday decorations. The rooms (at least ours) are functional and well appointed. Temperature control is minimal, and street noise reaches even to the top floor through thin windows.
