I took the Basic Riders Course. The instructors were funny and very knowledgeable. Aimee was AMAZING! and so encouraging to beginner riders. Her directions were clear and calm and she was very adept at explaining things in a way that made sense. I would recommend this school to anyone, they truly care about developing safe riders. I will be taking the basic bike bonding class the next time it is offered!
Great experience, my wife and I took the class, the owner is very patient and willing to work with his customers.
I greatly appreciate the time he took to make sure my wife learned the skills needed to ride safely.
Amazing experience! When I was there I didn't feel like just a customer, I felt like a person. Whether or not I passed the class didn't matter to them, they cared about me. If I fail they will do some one on one lessons with me or if I passed great! I loved the instructors they definitely knew what they were talking about which made me feel much safer with them. I didn't walk in and was being taught by someone who learned yesterday. My instructors had been riding many many years. All together it was an incredible experience and I will absolutely recommend this to a friend!
Had a a really good experience with these guys. I’ve never driven a stick shift before . And they walked you through all of it. If you ever get a bike or thinking about it , I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn!
I took the beginners riders course. The first day was very cold and snowy. We got through as much as the weather would allow safely. The next day was beautiful. The instructors are very helpful and genuinely care. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to ride. I did not give them 5 stars because before leaving after taking my written test I heard what appeared to be the owner I do not know her by name but she rudely interrupted the gentleman giving us our written test demanding he give her his time slips so that "he can get paid". She was in a hurry and had to pickup her kids from church?? Either way it was incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional for her to treat or talk to an employee that way. Other than that it was a great experience.
These guys reeeeally care about your education, they're extremely patient and they are all very good at teaching. I had to re take my skills test and had Dave working with me. He went out of his way to give me one on one coaching out on the bike for as long as i wanted or until i felt comfortable and confident enough to retake my test. He gave out very useful pointers and gave very good and clear motorcycle tips and directions. You can tell these guys love what they do. Thanks again Motorcycle Training Academy!
Not only were the instructors amazing, but the whole course in itself was wonderful. I had some trouble on the range and they were very supportive, and helpful, and did not make me feel rushed or dumb. I would recommend anyone to take this course. Great instructors, great classroom set up, safe range, safe bikes, and safe equipment. Fair priced for everything you get in the course. I would recommend 100% to anyone who wants to ride, or needs a refresher on how to ride, and the basics.
I took the class over Memorial Day weekend and had a good experience, but today was a different story. During my first day of my first class I think some of the instructors forgot that it was a beginner course and skipped over some details when speaking to the attendees with some instruction, but overall both days were great and it was fun while also being a great learning experience. I didn't pass the road test the first time and on Sunday afternoon I was scheduled to repeat the second day so that I could test again. That second day came around this morning. I arrived 30 minutes early to meet the instructor and make sure there was time to adjust what bikes may be needed. The instructor was very curt and told me I couldn't ride in her class with the shoes I was wearing. These were the exact same over the ankle shoes I wore over Memorial Day weekend, so this was a surprise to me. Not one of the four instructors (one of which is an owner) I worked with that weekend said anything about it. I explained that to her and her reply was 'ok' and she walked off. Over the next 20 minutes or so the rest of the class arrived and 2 minutes before the class was set to begin she says, in front of everyone, that I can't ride in her class. I asked her why she waited 20+ minutes to tell me that and she said I was being confrontational before and that she wasn't letting me take her class. I most definitely was NOT confrontational when I explained I had worn them in the previous class, to be clear, and in the time that has passed I could have gone to a store which is 5 minutes away and gotten a different pair of shoes to wear. She also wouldn't tell me when anyone was going to be in the classroom so that I could reschedule so that I could get my endorsement, she just said no one can reschedule a class on a Sunday. The first time through was such a great experience that this trip was a total shock.
This place is amazing. I learned a lot, particularly my Cbr1000 sucks at figure 8s. But the classmates and instructors were very helpful and kind and the best experience I've ever had. I really appreciate their expertise and willingness to help at every turn.
I attended MTA's Basic Riding Course and instructors (Tony and Leslie) delivered an overall great course. We gained basic riding skills and lot of safety knowledge, which I am sure would help with our future riding adventures.
