Owner was horrible. Refused to serve a group of us that rented out a private room and when i talked to the owner about it he kicked us out. This place is god awful please never go Edit: only responded to our group after getting called out. Based on yelp reviews, seems to be a common problem. I would caution others against scheduling any events there.

I like this place. I just hate that it’s so darn expensive and seem to have inconsistent pricing every time I come. I came multiple times weekdays and weekends and it’s $30 an hour + room service fee and the most recent time I come it’s $50 + room service fee and you also need to stay for a minimum of 2 hours. Yesterday was the first time hearing that you NEED to stay for a required time. I’m just a bit sad because I drive 30 minutes just to come to this place rather than going to a different location in Eagan because music box has better song selection and you can use your own music as well. Now I’m not sure if it’s worth making the drive here because their policies continue to change.

Made a reservation for 4:30 but waited for my group so I appreciated their patience. Once we entered the room there was no direction provided of how to begin we went to find help and found out it had to be from your phone. We also learned that we are not to touch any of the electronics used for the mic volume but had someone assisted prior we would have known that. We ordered food and drinks with a room of 10 we waited over an hour for food 2 people from the group canceled their order because of the wait. My rice was cold when it finally came but because my children waited to eat I let them eat it. Rooms are beautiful but the service lacked majorly. Partially because 1 person served every room by herself. I love karaoke and was excited about the experience also we were here to celebrate my birthday not a great experience.

The karaoke was great. There’s private rooms so you don’t have to sing in front of random people and the rooms are clean with fast service. Didn’t try the food so I can’t speak to that but it was a great experience.

Fun environment, AMAZING sushi, however for the price of the room, you can literally buy your own chrome-cast and a sound system ( they use chromecasts here. you use your own cell phone). Service is great and helpful, and their Sushi is worth coming here for regardless of if you sing. It's a blessing they have separate seating quarters for food. All in all, I'd recommend it to my friends with money to burn and a group of friends they can get drunk and loud with. This is a great time, but for the price, it really is a rare "treat" sort of event venue, as opposed to a Friday night every week sort of thing.

It is a really cool concept and we had fun! But the karaoke unfortunately stopped working randomly a lot. But they fixed it after we asked a couple times. The food was fine, we spent over the limit so the rooms ended up being free. Would go again!

On their website it says Karaoke closes at 1:00 AM. So my friends and I drive to Music Box and on their door it says Karaoke closes at 1:00 AM. BUT when we try to open the door its locked? We check the website to see if reservations are REQUIRED but NO WHERE on the site it says they're required. We call the number and ask "Are reservations required for karaoke?". They completely ignore the question neither confirming or denying. They say " Oh what day are you looking to make a reservation for?". We asked "Is there anything open right now?" Its 11 PM on a Sunday. Their door AND website say they close at 1 AM on Sundays. They respond " Oh sorry, we're closed right now". So what am I supposed to do? Their website doesn't have the information I need and apparently the staff doesn't either. Absolutely terrible.

We had a big group, about 12 or so, so we rented room 10 which can accommodate all of us. The sound are nice and loud, except one of the mic was not loud enough. The food: ramen and sushi, were very good and well proportion. The staff were also very friendly. It is a nice place to hangout with friends especially when you have loud ones in your group. The noise level in our group was pretty loud but it didn't travel outside of our room except when the door was open.
