The MUW Department of Graduate Nursing was established in 1974, and has maintained full nursing accreditation status since its initial accreditation, to offer programs of study leading to the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. The graduate master's nursing program is for individuals with a baccalaureate in nursing and two years registered nursing experience.

First class education! Like no other, I'm a coast girl but I love it. My instructors are the best, and we are blessed with the most amazing studies, it helps things become more interesting to where you just have to learn!
MUW is a culture of its' own: from the people, to the clubs, and to the classes each day is something unique! I got an amazing education, and I am proud to be a member of The Long Blue Line!
I was there oh so many years ago ... 1976-1978. Only two years, but a lot of growing up and a great transition from a (barely) 17 year old kid to (almost) an adult thanks to some great friends. Wish I knew where they were now.
My home away from home. I stood on my own two feet for the first time here and loves every second I was there. I met my best friends and my better half there. The W is the best place on Earth!
From the first time I stepped on campus, I knew I belonged there. All these years later, it feels just like home to me. Sometimes I just have to go back for a brief visit to get a whiff of what it felt like as a student there. I remain in close contact with many of the others who attended there during the same time frame I did. But no matter if you walked that beloved campus together or not, you are all connected by an invisible blue thread that binds all W Girls' hearts together from generations past to generations to come. I will always be a W Girl no matter how old I am and I will always, always love The W!
I have been a student here for the past 6 years. I received my bachelors and will graduate with my masters on Saturday! The W is a quiet, quaint, wonderful home for any student! I learned so many educational and life long lessons! �
After attending a larger university for a semester, I found my home at the W. The entire experience-from the quality of the education (incredible professors who actually knew my name) to the social network to the amazing history of Mississippi's best kept secret (as far as colleges go)-all combined to give me so much.
Muw hired the worst maintenance outfit after sodexo and promoted a grudge holder to mgr over the new operation and after a message that never got a reply from the top tier person at the W.... so what this grudge holder and personal vendetta guy did was let my woman go after her 12 years of service in the maintenance department.. MUW does not care.
