I never want anyone to experience what I experienced on my wedding day from this DJ. I also never want anyone else to feel the level of utter disappointment my husband and I felt and still feel. That is the purpose of writing this review. This was the worst experience at our wedding. The sad part is, I really trusted him when I met with him and I worked so hard on the meaningful playlist for the reception and was very detailed and clear as to what songs he was supposed to play for the announcements, eating, garter toss, pronunciations of names, etc. I even made a Spotify playlist for him that he had on his computer and all he had to do was press play and announce. I filled out all of his forms online, outlining in detail the plan I created for the evening. I recorded pronunciations of the names and we practiced them. All of this went out the window on our wedding day. He didn't play the playlist, made up his own set list, pronounced my husbands name wrong, and had the incorrect timing for everything that happened for the entire reception. In addition to this, after I told him to play the list I made and actually do what we discussed and planned for over 6 months, he literally told me, “I am not going to play your playlist or do what we talked about. I am just going to take requests from your guests.” So he actually refused to do his job in front of my wedding guests after continually being asked to fulfill our original agreement. Also adding injury to the insult (literally), my husband repeatedly had our close friends asking us if the DJ was under the influence of stimulants or alcohol based on his irrational behavior. He was a COMPLETELY different person on our wedding day than any other time I had met with him (or else I wouldn't have hired him!). He actually walked outside during the reception and told my husband (I don't think he knew who he was talking to when he said this) that he forgot his weed in his car and was going to get it. In the emails afterwards, he took no responsibility for anything and said that everything that went wrong (him not playing the playlist or doing his job) was MY fault. He actually said he acted as a wedding planner for me and that I was lucky to have him. Absolute waste of time and money. To quote some more reviews that are pretty accurate: “Chad messed up literally every single piece of my wedding that he was involved in. He was late arriving, and then was drunk the entire reception (he was visibly drinking in front of all of my guests/ family beer that he had brought himself).” Also, this is pretty much EXACTLY how I feel: “It has broken my heart to say that the one thing that tarnished my wedding day was our DJ.” I actually got sad and cried the other day listening to my wedding playlist I worked so hard on that never got played. Again, I never want this to happen to any other bride or groom. I never want anyone to be tricked and lied to on their wedding day and also to be told by the DJ that they aren't going to get what they paid for and worked so hard for.
