We showed up early for our appointment, about 20 minutes early! We were the first ones in the waiting room and only 1 of 2 patients waiting, sat in the waiting room 15 minutes past appointment and then sat in the room for more than 45 minutes! We were the first ones called to the back, in my mind that means first to be seen!! So here it is an hour past our appointment time and still haven't seen the doctor! I'm not impressed whatsoever! Don't schedule an appointment if you aren't going to be there on time and it wasn't because they were busy, just poor business skills!!

My daughter and I love Dr Debroy. He is knowledgeable and has helped my daughter gain weight, while ruling other things out, which is so very important (she was IUGR). Sometimes there is a wait, but there have been several times he was called in for an emergency at the hospital, so I don't mind.

Dr. Debroy was great and my daughter's procedure went well. She is on treatment for a while to see if her stomach calms down.

Insensitive, money hungry, scammer. We waited 3 months to get in to see this doctor. We were excited because my child has had problems for almost 2 years and with the good reviews we saw on his website we had lots of hope that he would be able to help. When we got there, we waited at least 45 minutes to be seen, then when he finally did come in, he did not look at or do any type of exam in fact he wouldn't even walk over to my child, he just asked me a few questions. So why did I have to wait 3 months and take them out of school for this, I could've answered these questions over the phone. I told him we were having problems at school physically and mentally and he responded with your child needs to lose weight and if PE is hard, just do it and throw up. My child is not over weight, in fact my child can't eat so many things without feeling sick, that's why we went to ask for help. He didn't offer any options or advice, except very expensive and invasive hospital procedures that would take over a month to get. So what am I supposed to do to help until then and after? He didn't say. Also, how can you know that these procedures are needed if you don't do an exam? Then, after I told him that my child is scared all the time because we never know when they will be sick or have another episode, he decided to send a nurse in who proceeds to tell me & my child that so many bad things can happen at the hospital, and sign here in case they need to give them blood, and lots of people might watch the procedure, and sometimes people don't wake up etc... You shouldn't say those things in front of a child who isn't sick, much less one who is already having trouble. I asked them if we could speak in the hallway and they just continued. I never saw the doctor after that. My child left scared, with their self esteem below zero and I left feeling helpless because I still can't help my child and I had to pay a copay for that. He gave no helpful advice and it felt like he just wanted money because we spent the majority of the visit telling them what kind of insurance we had and they called our insurance several times while we waited. Why, this was just an office visit? After the visit, they kept scheduling us for things that I have told them through multiple phone calls we do not want. So then I have to call the hospital to cancel all of these appointments that I asked them not to setup. I have even had to call the hospital and tell them not to accept any more appointments from their office because they are doing it without my permission. I hesitated with writing this review and haven't for almost 4 months but today is the last straw. I received a bill in the mail for an expensive biopsy that never happened, and a biopsy is not even one of the procedures that we talked about. Now I have to fight these charges too. Also, I am not able to leave a review on his website so I'm not sure where all of those positive 5 star ratings really came from. Don't fall into the same trap that we did. We went for one office visit and ended up with so many more headaches and I'm not sure if they will ever stop. I already have a sick child, I didn't need more problems. I wish I never went here. It's the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor, and I really mean that.
