My son was referred by his pediatrician to Dr. Sangeeta to figure out what was wrong. At first, I ddn't want to drive an hour and a half each way. At the first appointment, she did everything I was anticipating should happen to try to diagnose my son. She answered all my questions and I left still uncertain about my sons condition, but clear directions on what we needed to do at home. She discovered a fissure and prescribed a regimen of fruits/vegetables, Miralax, and consistent bowel training to try to heal the fissure and get my son using the bathroom regularly. Also, sent him for a blood work up. We returned in 2 weeks for a follow-up. She checked his fissure and did another blood occult test. Fissure was not healed and still + blood in stool. She wanted to schedule him for a colonoscopy, but said we should continue what we are doing for 30 more days and re-check then. She didn't want to do a colonoscopy on such a young child too quickly, which made me feel comfortable. She gave him the time to heal, instead of running tests or putting him through unnecassary things. When we returned in 30 days, there was no change. She informed me that she suspected Crohn's Disease and wanted to do a colonoscopy/endoscopy to rule out or diagnose him. After that was done, she came to the waiting area to explain her findings and it is Crohn's Disease. Since the diagnoses, we have been seeing Dr. Sangeeta for his continued care. She takes the time to answer any questions that my son, my husband, or I have. Her staff in the office is excellent, as well. I highly recommend Dr. Sangeeta!

Dr. Bhargava is the second Dr. to treat my child. I went to her after a failed attempt at diagnosis with another Dr. My first appointment with her really demonstrated that she is the right Dr. for us. Before the first appointment the office worked with me to get all my child's medical records from her previous gastro, her pediatrician and the hospital. On the first appointment she had already reviewed all my my child's records and asked us to tell our story in our own words. She asked good questions about our regimen and some follow up questions about our treatment. She takes careful and thorough notes. We ran some basic tests (skipped by previous dr.) and got us on a better path to treat my daughter. Dr. Bhargava will use data and facts to make her diagnosis/treatment plan. She's not afraid to tell you the hard truths. I think some may find that tough to take, but for me, I want the truths to help my daughter. My daughter has never been better. I will continue to work with Dr. Bhargava even though she is further away than other Dr.s and I may have to wait longer to see her. I know she is giving her other patients the type of care I expect for my own kid.

Terrible!!!! Our son is autistic and they were informed! He had been there a few times and did great! He had one meltdown and we were told to not bring him back until he grows up and can get his behavior under control! Hello, he is autistic! Now we have a kid with gastric problems and no doctor!

I took my 2 month old son in for chronic diarrhea and vomiting. She was nice the first appointment but when the special formula still didn't clear up the issues she told us to pump him full of rice cereal (to stop him from going) and Karo syrup (to get him to go again). She didn't treat the cause of the problem just the symptoms. Fearing her advice was a safety risk we returned to his pediatrician who immediately changed his formula and he's been doing great ever since we even got him off of the reflux meds. When I called to cancel his follow visit the staff was rude and actually hung up on me. Also every visit was an hour long wait in the waiting room. Do not take your children here

Best staff and doctor I've ever taken my kids too! Under Dr. Bhargava's care my daughter was able to get her life back. Her disease was robbing her of childhood years. Never in four years have we had one issue. My daughter turns 18 next year and we will have to find a adult gastro doctor for her or she would stay her patient forever!

We are never seen by the doctor or nurse practitioner on time. At the minimum they are 1 hour behind schedule. We have now been 5 times and the wait beyond our scheduled time is between 1 and 2 hours.

The doctor is very helpful and took a lot of time with us to help figure things out. But the staff is completely opposite. They are in a hurry and don't work well with children. They are short and even rude on the phone when I would call. With questions. They make you use hallway bathroom every time for some reason. And not the one in office. Just don't feel very welcomed. Also both times we have been here we have waited over an hour. Office is dirty, torn up chairs and not very kid friendly. All I want to do is wash my children's hands over and over again, after everything they touch. Just doesn't feel clean. I would not recommend this doctor, and probably won't be back if we have any other concern.

I drove 2 hours got there 15min early and waited 2 hours after my appt time to see the doctor for 10min for her to do a rectal exam and tell me put my child on miralax again.. 🤬🤬🤬 after I said 3 time he can not take that he vomits uncontrollably, she didn’t. Even listen just proceeded to tell me she’s been doing this over 20yrs she knows what works, that’s nice for you obviously it doesn’t work for MY child!! NEVER go to pediatric gastroenterology of Central Florida! Such useless people!

Dr. was great front staff horrible and very unprofessional. After several attempts to talk to a manager about a charge I felt was not okay, instead of the manager EVER contacting me or ANYONE FROM THE OFFICE, for that matter they simply kept ignoring me and sent me to collections for $25 dollars. Ridiculous. I have medical office experience and NEVER in a million years would I ignore a patient trying to figure out a charge, instead just send them to collections so they go away. Terrible.

Great experience! I read some previous reviews about wait time and prepped accordingly with snacks and toys. We were in and out within an hour of waiting and this past time only 30 minutes, so don't let these other reviews bring you down! Dr. Bhargava is very sweet and understanding and set us up to get some test run, etc. The NP is also great and the staff are excellent and caring. I would definitely recommend this place.
