I would not recommend this company if you don't have to use them. I have a relative that has to use them and they have not provided good service. After calls for about a week of faulty equipment and wrong equipment deliveries, they finally got the correct working parts for the oxygen tank. This ended up leaving my relative homebound while waiting for the company to get the problem right. Please be aware before using them.

i WOULD GIVE THEM A MINUS 1 IF I COULD. Terrible customer service always busy Delivery crew is good - their only redeeming value. They do not carry what I need and supplement with excuses. Once they have you with medicare they have you hooked for 5 years.

They are the BEST! i've been waiting since 8 a.m. this morning for a delivery that, first, was between 8 a.m. - 1 p.m., i called at 10 a.m. to check on the time again, and they told me then that the time had changed...it's now going to be at 4:30 p.m.....perfect!.....i asked why no one had called me to let me know but....they apologized....4:30 p.m.....i called back again to check the arrival time....this had changed again! OH MY! now the time is 4:59 p.m.....glad i called! I give myself 3 stars for calling to check! 4:59 p.m......5:59 p.m.....hmmmm....no delivery....i called after business hours at 6:07 p.m., asked the answering service to PLEASE contact the on call for preferred homecare....i rec'd a call from John...@ 6:20 p.m. said that they are coming between 6:30 p,.m. and 7 p.m......as i was writing this review....the delivery came...it's 6: 26 p.m.....told you...they are GREAT!

my son was given a small volume nebulizer for his primary care doctor and the doctors office used this company for the part and now im receiving a monthly bill. called the company and they stated that i rented the machine from them and i can return it. WTH rented the machine it was given to be from the pharmacy and i paid the co-pay for it. what a waste of time.

My mother's doctor ordered a walker from this company. She's 88 years old and suffering through chemotherapy. When I called to ask if they had a model that doubled as a wheelchair, the rep curtly answered, "No, we can only send what's in our warehouse." All well and good. When I told her I'd like to cancel the order and buy the model we preferred from another store, did she say, "No problem, thanks for calling"? NO. She HUNG UP on me. How rude! I will never work with this company again if there is any choice whatsoever. I'd give this company zero stars if I could.

This company has become totally malfeasance, they went from a good company to an extremely poor company and just a matter of a few years. I use oxygen supplies on a daily basis and have an option generator I have tubing for that generator such as nasal cannulas that this company cannot and will not deliver in a proper manner. This company has screwed up my order multiple times and a one week. They have sent me a double order of supplies and none of those supplies are what I had ordered there exactly opposite. They are most likely billing the insurance company for this malfeasance ! Their operators and their oxygen supply or incompetent, and extremely rude ! This Company can care less about your life !

It is now Monday and I have been calling and getting rude and unprofessional reps at preferred homecare since last week. My insurance sent notification a pre-auth had definitely been sent for needed respiratory equipment last week by fax. Twice. Each preferred employee said it did not exist. I’m a senior and having acute asthmatic, flu distress. I have never been treated so disrespectfully and condescendedly as I have from this company; in fact, as an advocate for others, I have had some very good experiences years ago with this company. This lackadaisical treatment is disappointing to say the least. Today I spoke to a supervisor who was at least honest with me. Yes, I’m not crazy! My pre-auths have been there all the time. I HAD been blown off. She apologized for the bad treatment I received and took responsibility. I deeply appreciated that. I believe this company has hired people without taking the time to train them or have lost their interest in humanity to such a point maybe they should consider getting out of the business. Their reviews I just noticed are not good. They may have the market with state healthcare and feel they don’t have to any longer care about customers. What I do know is their CEO should get out of his chair, along with supervisors under him and do a little detective work as to how customers are really being treated on the phone, as the buck stops with him. This is too dangerous a time medically wise with deadly flu etc spreading, to let a need for a breathing machine be blown off by employees...all the while sick, young, old and vulnerable clients could die waiting for equipment. Step up! Preferred Homecare! Are your employees rude because they are not being treated fairly or paid insufficiently? You should be caring your reviews are so bad. I implore you and your company executives to do your job... and for the sake of those who are too weak to speak up for themselves I pray others in families and communities advocate for them.

This place is of the devil! My daughter is paraplegic she needs her wheel chair. They kept giving us the run around. I was told the parts are in, and it should be a few days until there done and my daughter will be able to move around again. Well it's been three months! And they have not received any parts and are waiting on the parts" I was very upset and requested a supervisor and was put on hold for 30 Minutes. I called from another phone and spoke to the same female and asked her why she has me on hold but can answer other calls. She told me look I didn't put your daughter in the chair God did and hung up on me. I am so sorry for my baby that she has to suffer. And for these people to be so crule and unhuman hurts. I pray that something happens (New Owner's) soon so people can get the help they need. I wouldn't even give this company 1 star they treat your family and mine like how they would not like to be treated.

I attempted to set up a delivery four times for a SVN machine for my son. The first time I was told the delivery driver would call me to arrange a time....he did as he was standing at my front door when I wasn't home. I called back and after a lengthy hold spoke to someone who said he would send the driver back out. I very specifically told them when I would be home since I had to drop an older child off somewhere...the driver showed up again when I wasn't home. I called a third time and spoke to a supervisor in another department who said the delivery would be sent out again but that they couldn't guarantee the time. I waited all night. The next morning I called, again I asked for a supervisor, again I got a run around and was eventually patched through to a non-working VM. Given the fact the SVN machine was supposed to be used to help my very sick child BREATH I would think that the company and it's employees would take their jobs a little more seriously and try to do a better job to provide good care. As a pharmacist I am appalled and the pathetic excuses, customer service this company has!!!! I called our pediatrician's office and complained and fortunately for my son they were able to make other arrangements for us.

Needed to swap a wheelchair. The first chair we received was ridiculously large. Got the run-around when trying to swap. "No chairs available." "Need a doctor's prescription." Like to talk, not much listening, though. After calling on Mar 26th, we found they thought we were trying to order a wheelchair, not swapping. Initial contact on Mar 14th, doctor prescribed Mar 16th. Delivery was scheduled for today (Mar 28th) between 8am-1pm. Claim they showed at 930. I was on the couch watching "The Americans" and never heard a knock nor a doorbell nor saw anyone with a wheelchair pass my front window. Was finally given the option to do this ourselves at their location. Drove to Preferred Home care. Charlie helped us out and, really, he was the only one who salvaged any type of positive rating for this place.

They claim you still have equipment you rented, invoice you monthly & turn it over to a collections agency. In 2015 I was prescribed oxygen as part of my recovery after knee surgery. They delivered it at 1:30 am to relatives & left no instructions on how to use it. The following week when the home health nurse arrived she showed me how to use it. I ran out of oxygen tanks & they never brought more. Never returned my calls - nothing. I got through my rehab & no longer needed oxygen. I called them at the end of 2015 to pick up the equipment. They did, 2 months later. NOW, out of nowhere, in JUNE of 2018, 2 1/2 YEARS LATER I started receiving numerous screaming, threatening, harrassing phone calls from them claiming I never returned the equipment. They would not listen to me, talked over me & hung up on me. (I had changed insurance companie 1 1/2 years EARLIER so at least from that time on they obviously were not getting rental payments for the equipnent). They starting sending me invoices for $500 a month & said I would be invoiced until they get their equipment back! Now, they have sent it to a collections company.
