I have a love/hate relationship with this place. I love the service and selection but hate the drive and parking. I have spent too much time and money here, but it is definitely worth it for anyone looking for a violin, viola, or cello.

Great service with great selection of violins and cellos! Be ready for some difficulty parking with such a small lot.

I'm a pianist, but new to the cello world, I went in to sample the difference between my student rental cello (Eastman VC80) and a "good" cello. They kindly answered all my numerous questions, and invited me into a room full of high quality intermediate cellos and let me play them all. I've gone back twice now, and have spoken with 3 different associates, all of whom were very knowledgeable. They offer full value trade-up, so I'm planning on buying an inexpensive cello from them for now, play it a while, then appreciate the quality jump when I trade up. After the quality, classy experience I had, I was afraid of the price tag, but they offer instruments across the whole "good quality" spectrum, $1500+.
