Food was good. The garlic house dressing was amazing. No parking. I had to find parking a few blocks away.
I took my mom here for lunch yesterday (10/13/19) and the service we were met with was so appalling that I'm struggling to find the words to describe it. We were met by a female server who took our orders without so much as a smile. Then she brought us room temperature water in styrofoam cups. 30 minutes passed and we still hadn't received our food. It was a crowded Sunday, so we didn't think much of it until we saw folks who had arrived much later than us being served. After 45 minutes we began to wonder if we'd been forgotten. Exactly one hour after arriving, I finally received my food, which was lukewarm at best. I waited awhile to eat, hoping my mom's lunch wasn't far behind. After another 10 minutes my mom insisted I eat, as my food was growing colder by the minute. I ate the food, which tasted fine despite being truly cold. At this point it had been 1.5 hours and I had finished my meal. My poor mom was still unfed. Finally she approached to the register and asked if she could just pay for my meal and leave. The same female server handled the transaction with rolling eyes and an impatient tone. She didn't apologize once. This has to be one of the worst restaurant experiences we have ever had.
Love this place! Great vegan food. We especially loved the cheese stuffed pita bread. We got two orders! It’s hard to find vegan comfort food, but this place has it.
Really good food and great service! The food suggestion I was given was given with genuine interest and not just to sell. I felt welcomed. Place was clean. Will definitely be returning! Pictured below is Kalebone, mac n cheese and collards.
I've always wanted to try a vegetarian restaurant. So, while I was on vacation, I visited Soul Vegetarian No. 2. I ordered the Super Kalebone Roast with the garlic split pea soup. After taking the first bite of each selection, I was overjoyed and overwhelmed by the quality of flavors from each dish. The waitress was great and so is the chef which I personally had to fist-bump for preparing such an excellent dish. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.
I wanted to dine in instead of just a normal pick-up. WORST mistake of my life. I arrived at the restaurant with my family around 8:18pm. We sat and ordered our food. It took 1 hour and a 1/2 before we received our meal. The waitress came to the table twice to tell us that our food would be out shortly; complete lie!! She never apologized for the wait time. I definitely won't be going back to eat there.
I am raving over this food! It's the best vegan meal I've ever had, hands down. The menu is diverse, well priced, and astoundingly delicious. The people are kind and want you to enjoy your meal. I had a vegan Philly cheese steak that was more flavorful than traditional meat filled ones! I can't recommend this place highly enough. An Atlanta jem. You're missing out if you don't eat here.
THE FOOD HERE IS AMAZING! I order pick up from soul vegetarian and not only was I greeted with an extremely warm welcome my food was amazing. I had never eaten there before and wanted to start with two smaller dishes so I tried the breaded cauliflower and Mac and cheese. AMAZING! The Mac and cheese has some secret ingredient in it that makes it taste like it was touched by the god and the cauliflower was cooked to perfection. I cannot wait to go back and try everything else on the menu!
Tasty, well seasoned food. 100% vegan! Friendly, helpful personnel. Affordable prices. Good sized portions. Dine in, takeout. Cozy space. On street parking in surrounding areas. Adjacent lots restricted due to neighborhood gentrification.
I recently visited this Soul Vegetarian location after hearing so many wonderful things. Boy am I glad I decided to stop by. The customer service was great and the food was even better. I ordered the bbq cauliflower, macaroni and cheese, greens and cornbread. This was some of the best vegan food I have ever had. Everything was hot and fresh and tasted delicious. Although the drive is about 30 min for me, it was definitely worth it. I will be visiting again very soon! Awesome job!
This place was amazing!!! The food was hot and fresh and very delicious. My family got the Brunch which consisted of 2 huge pancakes, 2 sausages, and eggs. Everything was absolutely vegan and we are very happy with our visit. The waitress was extremely nice. We will definitely eat here again.
