Jai. Was. AWESOME. We had SUCH a good time getting to know him, and working with him to create the perfect wedding playlist that catered to both us as the couple (think Taylor Swift singalongs for me, and a full choreographed Eminem rap for my husband), and music that got the whole crowd up and dancing. There was seriously a conga line at one point--I thought that only happened in movies! All this is to say that Jai goes the extra mile to really understand the couple and the wedding vibe, and on the big day he absolutely killed it. We would highly, highly recommend Stumptown and Jai in particular!

DJ Yusef was AMAZING. We didn't really want a DJ but boy are we happy we went with Stumptown and got DJ Yusef. We literally gave him ten songs we liked and he magically spun that into a full five hours of the perfect music for our dinner party wedding. Highly recommend Stumptown DJs and especially DJ Yusef.

Stumptown DJ's were awesome. We hired, DJ Jai, to play our wedding reception. He went above and beyond our expectations. He met with my fiance and I on multiple occasions to find out our personal music styles and to go over our timeline. We had access to Stumptown's musical library, and they made it very easy to choose songs that we wanted played for our first dance, cake cutting, and so on, as they had playlists devoted to those categories. DJ Jai was very tuned in to how we were feeling and wanted to make us as comfortable as possible. He made sure not to play any songs that we did not want played at the reception. He is a very experienced DJ and he made sure that all of our guests were dancing and had a good time at the reception.

We had the privilege of having Matt from Stumptown DJ's provide the entertainment for our wedding this past October. Matt did more than just stand behind a table and play music! He helped put together the entire playlist (much appreciated from the worn out bride) announced dinner, toasts, etc! He organized all the music for the ceremony and provided amps/lapel microphones for the officiant. Matts wonderful personality made our event memorable and fun. He helped with ideas as well such as putting the brides garter around a football for the toss. I've been to many weddings/events and Matts one of the best I've seen! I would hire him again and plan to do so for any future events as needed.

We are so happy we made the choice to go with Katie and Stumptown DJs for our wedding. We had a smaller reception in the event room at BridgePort Brewpub with mostly family, but Katie was still able to get people out on the dance floor. The weeks leading up to our wedding were easy as well. We had so much fun choosing songs for our playlist, and Katie was very helpful, laid back, and understood completely what we wanted. Stumptown DJs are a fantastic vendor to work with. The billing, and contracts, are super seamless! The DJ (DJ Drew, or Andrew) was wonderful, our dancing was insane, he wanted to go longer and so did we, but we were out of time at the venue. I’m pretty sure we would have had a blast through the night with him DJ’ing. Everyone I spoke with and coordinated with was great.

Lane SUN School loves working with Stumptown DJs! They are the DJ’s we continue to go back to year after year. They are seriously the best, they send experienced DJs to our school dances, donate their services periodically & give us great school discounts, and have awesome customer service. DJ Katie is the best! We clicked with her right away via our Skype meet (we don't live in Portland). She was both professional and personable. She totally got our eclectic vibe and had excellent music suggestions for our wedding. We had disco, punk, funk, pop, rock- mostly songs not normally heard at weddings, but great for dancing. We felt really comfortable with her- everything was taken care of. She really made us confident in our choices and her. The whole Stumptown system was really easy to use and questions were quickly answered. Their interactive timeline feature was great. They, and in particular Katie, we're our favorite vendor. Highly, highly recommend her!

DJ Casey was incredible, we are so glad we booked him through Stumptown DJs for our wedding! Without any direction from us, he knew exactly what music to play to keep everyone on the dance floor having an awesome time. DJ Casey was extremely easy to work with. In just a few phone calls we worked out all the ceremony music, the timing for each song, the first dance music, etc. And on the day of the wedding, he adapted easily to every little change we wanted to make at the last minute. We cannot recommend Stumptown DJs enough. DJ Casey made our wedding so much fun, it's hard to imagine what the night would've been like without him there. Thank you DJ Casey!
