Fun I went for a stripper event only a hand full of ladies was there. Over all very nice bar/venue!
Generally.. this spot is really hot.. and still is.. but last sat night Host was Horrible and not FUNNY at All.. and instead of engaging with guests.. constantly talking about them.. and I quote "we're here to be entertained" .. so please.. tell the jokes and give ur audience what they came and paid to see!! .. still a great spot.. wait for higher profile celebrities to come..
Great comedians. Admission resonably priced but drinks will get you.
The atmosphere was a little different than when I was there 5 years ago. But the comedians were hilarious, the food was excellent, and the drinks were strong. Mixed feelings about the dancers...some were excellent, some need more practice. Overall my party was a success!
The food and service is excellent. J Spot is known for their Black Stand Up Comedy Shows. They also have a Patio. The J Spot is great place for Private Parties or just to get a good laugh!
It's black owned least that's what the name implies if you know who J Anthony brown is. There is a two drink minimum. Usually you gotta pay to get in. Parking lot super small. The food was decent after you get finished paying for everything if you not going to see the strippers you looking at a 60 dollar night. Which is not bad for a night of entertainment.
Had a great time! Don't like the 2 drink minimum as I don't drink! I ordered drinks for my friends though. Thought that would count since I was the one paying! I also ordered a $40 platter of food. Should have covered the 2 drink minimum right? I ended up ordering another drink..for someone else. When I paid the bill I was expecting change based on the bill and what was given! The waiter told me that there was only $4 change! Where did you go to school? If my bill is $88 and I give you $100 that's $12 left. I was going to give him a tip AFTER I got my change back. Not before..smh my friends did the tipping needless to say after that! Other than that the entertainment and atmosphere was great!
Fun entertaining a great spot to get away for a little comedy drinks and excellent food. it's upstairs open patio is a refreshing bonus
