I visited to officiate a wedding as I have many times in the past. The vista is amazing. Nice just to sit and have a beverage and breathe it in. The staff members are usually very helpful.

The Sagamore exceeded our expectations in every area. Food, service, entertainment, convenience and kid friendly as well as adult evening live music. Stunning views. No place in all of Lake George or Bolton Landing that is better. If you want the best of everything and are willing to pay for it you will get it here.

Awful. We came for a wedding. They refused to accept a request that we have our room ready before 4 even though our ceremony started at 4. We showed up at 2:30 and they didn’t have the room ready until 3:15 which really left us about 20 minutes for the two us to shower and get ready. No glassware or mugs in the room. There are only paper cups wrapped in plastic, like a Motel 6. The wedding itself was poorly run. There was a lot of awkward down time. The entrees came out cold. We were loading up the car the next morning at 10:55 and discover our key cards have been deactivated. We call the front desk from outside the room and are on hold for 5 minutes. I inform them of what has happened and they tell me the card has been deactivated because it was 11:01.

Location simply beautiful. Facilities overall good. Gym facilities not at level one would expect of an Opal facility. Housekeeping....at best adequate. At 700 per night for a standard room I expected more. Rather disappointed.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo 5B6. On the surface it looks nice. Master has a queen bed that must be 30 years old. For 1500+ a night this should be a king bed that is not lumpy and soft. We asked to be moved but the front desk was very unaccommodating. In the past it was better - but now they do not seem to care . In the past we have had similar rooms with kings. If they are not the same they should adjust price. We have gone here for ten years will not come back. Opal ownership is terrible

We are here on our third visit. The staff is always outstanding to us. The rooms are good and they fit the era of the hotel. The food is also good. Its not a cheap place but if you're looking for the classic 1900's style regal hotel this is the only place to stay on Lake George

The grounds are breath taking. A great escape from the city life. I feel that I could be more upscale. At some point the resort decided to be kid and family friendly. I think there should be a strict no cell phone policy in the common area and a dress code hats and sleeveless shirts in the dining area is ridiculous. There needs to be a hot tube and or pool for adults only. I believe that adult friendly and family-friendly can go together.

Loved it. Great pools, boat tour awesome, great area, lake is amazing. Service left me at ease, from concierge to room cleaning. Will definitely be back. Rec building is pretty cool too!

Hotel is very unique as it sits on its own island. The views are spectacular. It has a an indoor and outdoor pool. We used the spa. It's not as good as others but useful. Good place to relax. Restaurants are good. Rooms are a little dated but rustic. A good place to visit.
