Absolutely excellent experience here. Dr. Patel explained the procedure in terms I could understand and answered all my questions. Surgery went very well and I'm back to my normal self! Would visit again but hope I never have to!

Made online appointment with Zocdoc that was confirmed by the office only for my wife to show up and be told that they don’t take our insurance. Waste of time and cab money.

I am giving a one star view because of the receptionists at this office, they are very impolite and unprofessional, I called 3 times and was told that they were very busy and they took my phone number and said that they would call back, still waiting. Every time I called back I was put on hold for a long time and finally I gave up!!! Will never try again and definitely not recommending this doctors office to anyone!!

We saw Dr Patel after a less than stellar experience at Ovington Orthopaedics in Bay Ridge, and couldn't have been happier with Dr. Patel. He was terrific with our kids, kind and easygoing, but smart and to the point, with an insightful and clear diagnosis, and put forward a clear treatment plan of the problem with my daughter's arm. We were paying out of pocket as well, and they were able to offer us a discount on an already very reasonable fee. I highly recommend.

Immediately felt comfortable with the Doc. Explained the problem and recommended surgery. I said yes because I trust his decision and knowledge. However the office staff is not as professional as the Doc.

I do not suggest going here for care. On my first visit I waited 45 minutes to see the doctor. After he evaluated me I was told I needed to do an MRI. I explained to him that it had to be an extremdy machine because I could not lay down in the regular MRI machine. They scheduled me twice for a regular MRI and not knowing I went to one of them and it was a waste of time because I couldn’t do it. A week later I finally did the MRI and called Pitels office to let them know so I could come in and get the results. They told me it would take a week for results and the Doctor is all booked up the following week so they couldn’t see me until 3 weeks later, keep in mind all this time my hand is messed up and I can barley use it. I called the MRI office and they told me the results would be ready the next day and I could pick them up myself. So I did just that and went to another doctor. The front desk receptionist are rude. They thought they put me on hold but they actually didn’t and I heard an entire conversation on how I was getting on there nerves. Lucy was the only nice person there. I will never go back!

Change the front desk workers! Had an appointment for 11 am. Got to the doctor after sitting in lobby for 2 hours. Workers kept letting other people in that came an hour after me. Worst receptionist ever.Doctor is good. Just not worth dealing with the front desk.

Super friendly and smart doctor. I had a hand injury that wasn't healing so I went to followup with Dr Patel. He diagnosed an issue with my thumb, UCL tear, immediately. Although it wasn't the news I wanted to hear, it required surgery. He understood I am very active and I didn't want to waste time with an MRI so scheduled it asap. He explained the surgery and rehab in detail at the followup and answered my many questions on how to try to shortcut rehab...he prevailed. Great doctor, nice guy, highly recommend.
