Reena and her husband are the greatest. Ive had my vision change on me over night. She was quick and accurate on the care i needed. Ive been coming here for close to 7 years.
My eyes have been a persistent problem throughout my whole life and finding a decent eye doctor has always been more of an issue. Dr Gupta and Ansley Eye Care presented options to help my vision that I didn't even know were available. The staff is great, their office is very clean and comfortable, and everyone their goes out of their way to make you feel very welcome. I can't imagine ever going anywhere else for my eye care.
Ansley Eyecare took wonderful care of me! I had severe pain in my eyes after getting my lashes done. They got me in for a same day appointment and treated me with care and professionalism. Dr. Shah was very nice and gave me some medicated eye drops for the pain. The staff was very helpful and even fixed all of my boyfriend's sunglasses that he's sat on over the years :)
This is a beautiful store and the staff here are great. The doctors explain everything to you very clearly. And the staff genuinely like helping you pick out new frames. The other staff that didn't have to help were offering suggestions and wanted to see how different frames looked. They actually made it fun to shop for frames. Note: this is a pretty posh place to get eye glasses. The cheapest brand they sell is Ray-Ban, and most of their frame brands are $300 to $400, excluding lenses and coatings. Also they have a Buddha board in the store area, which is pretty cool
The doctor was nice, but they refused to fit me in my existing contact brand. Apparently they get a kick back from the brands they promote, and the ones they put me in were horrible. Then they denied my purchase of the contacts I previously wore, even though they had provided the prescription stating that "they couldn't approve because I hadn't been fitted for that contact brand." When asked if the contact brand would change the prescription, they said "no." So, what exactly is the deal?
This place gives fantastic service. Here was the deal: I broke these very expensive Louis Vuitton sunglasses and I took it to a handful of eye wear stores, including Louis Vuitton, to get them fixed. lV said they could fix them for me but it could take months before I got them back. The other eye wear places said that they couldn't even begin to help because the screw I was missing was apparently highly specialized. To be honest, I thought that was a little crazy - all that was missing was a screw, surely any screw would do? John at Ansley Eye Care was very nice and offered to at least look into placing a screw in to affix the temple to the lens and it worked flawlessly. They didn't even want to charge me, which I thought was absurd, but that speaks to the volume of service they offer at this store. They don't even sell Louis Vuitton glasses and they were will still willing to try and help me. I don't wear glasses as I've had LASIK surgery, so I have near bionic vision, but if I did need to, I would highly recommend this store. The atmosphere is very upscale and everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable and friendly. I should've taken pictures of the interior to demonstrate what I mean, but I promise, the aesthetic is very opulent and luxurious. They were nice and helpful, willing to do what other stores were not, I had great experience and I wasn't even a customer. I would highly recommend this place for your eye care needs.
I had a great experience at Ansley Eye Care. They were quick and professional, and made the entire process easy. They helped me to find a great pair of glasses that I never would have chosen for myself, but that I love! I would definitely recommend them.
This is the 4th pair of glasses I've purchased from Ansley Eye Care. It's a bit pricey, yes, but unless you want to simply go to a chair like America's Best then the prices here are comparable to other boutique stores. And yes, I did try ordering my glasses online - from two different companies - neither could get the prescription correct. So back to Ansley I went. A lot has changed since I was last here, mainly staff, which really isn't a good thing in my opinion. The glasses seemed a bit "off" after wearing them for a week so I returned and sure enough, they were measured wrong. John remeasured me (he was not the person who did it the first time) and within about a week I got the corrected pair. Noticable difference - a good thing. I do feel that the owners care about their customers, but at times are overwhelmed with training new staff and mistakes are made. Bottom line, I will go back.
I was diagnosed with an incorrect prescription. The doctor told me that I had 20:20 and that I didn't really need glasses, to which I replied "Really? I think I've been wearing glasses that have a prescription for something higher for over 5 years and it makes a big difference." He proceeded to check again, and sent me on my way with the prescription. Later, after filling the prescription, it's completely off. It barely makes a difference and things are still very blurry from relatively short distances. I'm just going to call the optometrist I went to years ago and hope they still have my prescription. He did not attempt to do any explaining after I expressed my confusion around his diagnosis of 20:20 vision, and I left feeling unheard.
I have gone to quite a few eye centers in my lifetime and Ansley Eye Care is by far the best. They have the latest technology equipment to get your correct script easy and quick. Plus a very nice, modern and clean storefront. Highly recommend.
Great people all around! They made me look good in glasses (not an easy task), they were very knowledgeable, and Dr. Gupta was fantastic! They also have a very diverse selection of eyewear which made the process a lot more fun.
