I recently had Knee Surgery at Baylor Uptown and I must say my experience was quite good. The staff from the start were friendly, helpful and upbeat. Having surgery is never fun but they made me so comfortable I had absolutely nothing about which to complain. Even the food was really good!! I never had to wait for my meds and they were so good about checking on me I am not sure I ever hit the call button. I would highly recommend Baylor Uptown for your Surgical needs,

I arrived on time and was met courteously by staff. The wait for my procedure was a little lengthy due to unexpected complications that arose during surgery with a patient just before me that set the clock back, as I said unexpectedly. I was politely kept apprised of the timeline periodically. Procedure went smoothly once started and all staff were very friendly and upfront about everything that was happening both prior to my actual surgery and what I should expect regarding my own surgery. Additionally I received a very nice "thank you card" signed by my attending staff, which was totally unexpected and was a most pleasant surprise. I have nothing negative to relate regarding my experience other than the delay in my surgery due to complications that arose during another patient's surgery. All in all, I don't think I could have been in better hands anywhere else.

The Mexican night security guard was very rude and unpleasant the whole time very dry personality period! It took forever for the nurses the open the emergency room door because the main door closes at nine even though no one was in the waiting room. The nurses seem nice though!

This hospital is a great place to go for in-patient or out-patient. I have been there for both. Each person has treated me with kindness and respect, and there is no lack of concern for my well being.

I've been to this emergency room in the past and was treated very good. However, I experienced chest pain on yesterday and decided to go in just to be on the safe side. While the tech, nurses, and radiology staff were really nice, the doctor Jamal Omer wasn't. Instead of him trying to see about my chest pain he seemed more interested and why I came there instead of going to Methodist Dallas or Baylor University. He literally asked where I stayed and why I came there as if I was beneath getting care from Baylor Uptown. Then he proceeds to say if I was in so much pain why did I wait to come in, but I took it as him trying to dismiss my pain. He acted as if he had a problem with me coming to Baylor Uptown, but honestly I think he acted this way because of how I look. It shouldn't matter why a patient comes to a particular hospital, the only thing the doctor should be concerned with is seeing what's wrong with the patient. A doctor also shouldn't dismiss your pain level and try to make it seem like you're not in pain. It's really sad when you can't go through emergency without someone projecting their issues on you.

Amazing place. From the moment we parked we were treated like royalty. While my mom was having surgery, they offered coffee and tea and had warm blankets for us to use in waiting room. We went to the cafeteria and had two burgers, fries and complimentary tea fire $8. They took our phone number and called us throughout the procedure to give us updates then we were taken to a quiet conference room for the doctor to come visit after the surgery. Every staff member we encountered was so kind and friendly.

I'm really surprised to see any negative reviews. I visited this hospital yesterday to follow-up on a concussion I got during a car accident. I had never been to this hospital, but the nursing staff and doctors were absolutely fantastic. They called today just to make sure I was doing alright, and let me know that they're always there if I need to come back for any reason. Great ER and great staff.

I had the best experience at Baylor Uptown. The facility is wonderful and the staff is A+. They were attentive, kind and caring...and besides that I went home with a jar of chicken noodle soup!!!!! Doesn’t get any better than that! Baylor is my hospital of choice and I don’t want to go anywhere else. Great teams!

I had an inguinal hernia repaired this morning with Dr. Le. Everyone from the moment I arrived was 100% amazing. I can't remember most of their names at the moment, but everyone that treated me was very compassionate, friendly, and helpful. Kathy was my post-op nurse, and she was also very memorable. She took excellent care of me and tended to my needs to the T. Everyone made a somewhat nervous experience the best it could have been!

There's no better than Baylor Uptown. The hospital caters to their patients. Every employee seems happy and it truly shows through their patient care.Everyone that I encountered seemed very smart, professional, and best of all compassionate. The food is impeccable, and the hospital is spotless. I highly recommend this place. It's why I went 2 years in a row.
