Benedictine is hosting a kids Volleyball camp with admitted sexual predator Rick Butler. Butler has been banned from coaching girls by USAV, JVA and AAU. The school has full info and has declined requests from victims and alums to disengage. They have failed the 'Values' test.

Benedictine University is a unique educational institution in the US in terms of welcoming diversity and enjoying the multicultural setting. Students, faculty and staff get along well with their very diverse backgrounds. Administration is extremely mindful of the needs of the students to create a better comfortable environment for everyone! I strongly encourage all students who seek academic excellence as well as comfortable environment for education...

I was very disappointed. I attempted to attend the February 13th Art and Religion dicussion. I arrived at noon with my lunch. The room seemed set for a presentation but no one was around. I browsed the gallery and at 12:13 (time stamped photos) still no one around for this program that was to run from 12:00 to 12:50. At 12:15 another attende arrives. Then two women who behaved as if they were connected with the University appeared. I spoke of my concern as to the program being cancelled. I was curtly told "Don't worry about it". That woman then again left the presentation area. The second woman explained that the room was set up for HER event that was to take place immediately after this presentation. She told us this as she removed the table cloths off the tables where we were seated and were to eat our lunch; something we were encouraged to bring. This woman took her table cloths and left the room. Myself and the other attendee were once again alone in the room. I waited a few moments, feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I checked the time and it was now 12:25. The program is only to run until 12:50 and i hadnt had my lunch yet. I gathered my things, waited for the elevator and still only the one attendee was in the room sitting at a white plastic table without a cloth....

Benedictine University will always have a special place in my heart. I am currently in dental school and I know for a fact I would not be there today if I had not gone to Benedictine. The coursework is rigorous and challenging and at times I hated it but it prepared me immensely for professional school. The staff and the professors are like a second family. They want you to succeed. At every dental school interview I had, even at schools on the coasts, the interviewers mentioned they knew Benedictine prepared their students for professional school. Considering that it is a very small private school in a little IL town that shows what an amazing reputation it has. My dad, and all his colleagues in the medical field all went to Benedictine as well. If you want to go to a college with a lot of parties and sororities then BU is not for you. But if you want a phenomenal education and/or to go onto medical, dental or pharmacy school you will not find a better place. Thank you Benedictine! I'm proud to be an Eagle forever.

BenU will always hold a special place in my heart. From the first day I visited the campus, I loved it. It's such a beautiful and calm environment. I enjoyed my Master of Public Health program because of the professors who were accessible and approachable. They genuinely care about their student's success, and the Faculty/Staff are hospitable. I would recommend the school to anyone interested in pursuing MPH program.

To those who are thinking about going here. I would point you in a different direction. I needed to leave the institution to take a different position at my full time job as well as obtain a second job bartending. I did this because my husband, with a 70% disability claim, was unable to contribute towards paying for living expenses. After giving all documents to prove everything, they have denied financial help. This speaks to me in two very important ways: 1. They do not care about the well being of their students, only the dollars they bring in. 2. They do not care about the veterans who have given their life so they may live theirs.
