Review & Rating
Great, honest people. Family owned business. Got a very fare price for my car but most importantly didn't have to worry about a thing. They took care of everything. All paper work. Time frame: 20 minutes and all is set.
What else can I say? Proper people.
I gotta say, I was a bit skeptical with all the raving Google and Yelp reviews. Then I brought in my car and, after just a few minutes and a few questions Charles made me a very fair offer. Easily the simplest, most pleasant experience I've ever had selling a car. Highly recommended.
Let me start by saying that some of these "great reviews" are fake. Click on their profiles and you'll see a bunch of them reviewing multiple dealerships. I don't know about you, but I cannot afford to buy multiple cars each month.
They employ the usual dealer tactics, which was kind of annoying, but not unexpected. I didn't end up selling my car to them because they didn't give me a good price. The whole process took less than half an hour. They were fast and upfront about the fact they they are businessmen and are looking to make a profit.
Sold these guys my 2010 Prius. They gave me a good offer and all-in-all was a very smooth process.
The salesman on the phone was rude. He didn't even take the time to ask about the condition of my high mileage Impala, which everyone tells me you wouldn't think it has almost 200k by looking at it.
Spoke to Patrick. He quoted me a price. I drove 3 hours to sell the car, and he met us and processed the deal in 20 minutes. I had a lien on the vehicle, and they took care of that for me. My wife and I were very pleased with the way the sale went, and we recommend City Motor Group (Boston Car Buyers).
I had my 34k mile high trim Prius for sale online for almost 2 weeks. Patrick made me an offer on the first day. I wanted to wait since I got an offer so fast and it was only $1,500 below KBB. I figured I can wait a little for private sale and get more.
A week and a half went by with a bunch of inquiries and people failing to show up for their appointment to see the vehicle. Meanwhile, Patrick had been in touch on my progress. I asked him what his process is with getting this done and it sounded way easier. Long story short, Patrick stuck to his offer and I was in and out of Boston car buyers with a check in 10 minutes like he said.
Sold my Chevy Sonic to these guys. I shopped around with CarMax and some others, but Boston Car Buyers got the deal, because they offered a better price, were more responsive, and made it more convenient to me by sending a representative to my house. The transaction was completed within half an hour. Todd was very professional and nice to work with.
No complaints at all. I hope they got a good deal for my car.
The experience in selling my car was very positive. The dealer was very professional, trustworthy and the whole process did. It take long at all. I highly recommend this dealer if you are looking to sell your car or SUV.
Found them to be very professional and fair. I traded in my vehicle as I was purchasing another vehicle in a private sale. They did not try to press or push me to buy a vehicle from them and felt they gave me top value for my car even though I was not buying a vehicle from them. Do your research, know what your vehicle is worth, having a written offer from another service (like Carmax or other dealer) will help. They are serious about buying vehicles and you can can get top dollar if you make the effort and do the research and have a valid offer to negotiate with. After the way I was treated selling a car to them I will be checking with them the next time I purchase vehicle. We agreed on a price and they gave me a sales agreement and worked with me as I needed my vehicle until my other vehicle was available. Turned in my vehicle about a week later and no hassles or renegotiation. Very professional and accommodating, which is why I am giving them such a glowing recommendation.
