This is the hospital you want to come to if your child is having breathing issues and is seen by the worsen, nastiest nurses ever! The ER nurse had no class, or even education! They yell and scream about patient issues which is a huge HIPPA VIATATION. So if you want your child’s business told to others with there doors open come right in. If you want to never see the nurse that was assigned to your room and sends other employees to do her work come here. Yes I know an ER is not a drive thru but to sit and wait for anyone someone to check on a child with breathings issues please re-educate your staff. A hospital should not work this way!

The first Childrens Hospital that I have ever been to that charges you for parking to take your sick child in to be seen. Cafeteria seating needs to be cleaned and should have hand sanitizer available since it is a hospital. I always see huge carts filled with toys brought in and my child has been to this hospital over 20 times for a serious condition and has never been given anything. Even after a brain MRI she doesnt even walk out with a sticker from the hospital. We used to purchase a toy and tell her it was from the hospital, but we stopped doing that and instead take her after her procedure to get her own.

There's no other place like #CHLA at least non that our daughter has visited. The amount of attention and love they give their patients you just can't put into words.....

This hospital is a rip off hospital. My child had a surgery at this hospital,and my insurance did not cover. I got a phone call two days after my child was discharged from the hospital and they said that it will be $9,000 and then a few days later I called them and they said that the price is $32,000. I was about to faint when they said that. I finally paid $16,000 for the surgery. They charge me of one day in one of the room $9,000. Do not go to this hospital if you do not have a good insurance because they will rip you off. This is not a non profit organization. This is money making machine.

Some of the nurses dont know how to take care of the children there, theyre were two nurses who did cross contamenation with my sons bottle and another babys. Even though we told her it wasnt ours she still used it. They dont call to inform us how my baby is doing until we go see it. Either they are on the dam computer shopoing online or texting. Idk how that hospital has that type of workers.

Best place to be if your children have any health issue. Me and my wife are so thankful for all the hard work of the amazing people that works in Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

I took my son their yesterday night really is a good place to take your kids. everyone was very nice and for a parent the stress that knowing your baby sick and you don't Know how to help can be really heavy so having a place that focus on children helps

14 years ago Dr. VAUGHN STARNES performed an open hear surgery on my first born alot of miracles happened to us on those days. I didn't get to thank him enough at that time but he did such an amazing job on my kid. I had never felt God so closed to us. All the glory to God and bless that doctor and all the staff. I Have my miracle kid who now is a teenager. Thank you 💙🙏

I received a phone call yesterday asking if I wanted to have a in-home visit from the doctors to check the safety of the house and inspect and make sure everything was OK at first I was a little nervous questioning whether they believed I was able to take take of my kids or if they were safe or not, but I agreed to have them come over and inspect they came by This morning and let me tell you they reassured me that everything was fine and they didn’t think I was doing anything wrong they just wanted to make my home a safer place to prevent something from happening after talking to them for a while I felt very comfortable and happy they had chosen my house to inspect they said they do this once every year they checked the outside the inside the bedrooms and they also check to see how my children’s car seats were placed in my truck and if they were expired or recalled. They gave me some tips and tools to keep my home safe and I am truly thankful Children’s Hospital you go above and beyond to make me and my family feel comfortable thank you so much for caring. I am truly thankful for my children’s doctor Patel N.d. and the staff at Children’s Hospital my family and I Love the hospital and we appreciate everything you do when we have a dr app we feel very comfortable and I never leave with questions unanswered but for you to come all the way to my house and check the safety is incredible thank you so much for caring and taking the time to visit and giving me Some peace of mind and reminding me that we are all human and mistakes happen but we could never be too safe! Thank you so much both Dr. Patel‘s I don’t remember the third lady’s name and I apologize for that but thank you as well for checking my children’s car seats !

Emergency room fees that are borderline extortion!! Almost $1000 to have my daughters temperature taken and ear exam because of fever. 4 hour wait period. And absolutely no indication that those expenses would be incurred. They make you sign a document which states there will be "standard ER fees" issued. Don't you think a reasonable human being would indicate to a father that having a temperature taken will cost him nearly $1000? Its unbelievable having come from Australia and now witnessing first hand the disgusting nature of the health system in this country. Where is the common decency to tell a family what will be involved in an ER waiting room upon arrival and check in with the staff? Its appalling. Everything here is driven by money and financial gain.
