Seymour M. Weaver, III, M.D. was born and raised in Houston, TX. He went to college in upstate NY at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Dr. Weaver earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, and then went on to the Los Angeles County/USC medical center where he served an internship in medicine. Next, he completed a three-year U.C.L.A. affiliated dermatology residency program at Martin Luther King, Jr. Medical Center. He completed extensive training, including outpatient and inpatient preceptorships in plastic surgery. During residency, Dr. Weaver visited Kenya where he studied tropical dermatology and diseases for a month at the Kenyatta National Hospital.

I've had dandruff.....extremeeeee dandruff for 10 years. One appointment and it was gone for a year. It's starting to come back, so I'll be making an appointment soon. His staff was amazing!!!
Rudest staff ever. (Katy office)The few times I've seen the doctor, he's been very nice. But always expect a long wait time to see him. The lady Mary who does the peels has the coldest personality ever, you could be a bit nicer if I'm gonna allow you to poke holes in my face. The ladies at the front were slow and unpleasant, I asked one lady at the desk to ring me up because no one was available, she said "Don't you think I would have done that the first time I saw you?" Won't be returning, they aren't the only derms in town
I had an appointment for 2:15. I did not get to see Dr. Weaver until 4:00. The clerk never alerted me of a wait time. After finally being seen, Dr. Weaver was very interested to hearing about my experience with acne and hair loss. He seemed genuinely concerned and positive that he could help. I drove from MS so my hope was that my time wouldn't be wasted. The office can improve customer service. They never answer the phone when I called to see when my next appointment was. Overall, it's been a month and I'm still waiting to see results.
Highly recommended! I did the PRP for my face and feel completely rejuvenated. Thank you very much Dr. Weaver. Do not forget to get your miracle neck cream!
Absolutely love Dr. W! I have received amazing results at an affordable price. I came to Dr.W with a keloid that had been operated on about 7 times and always came back worse. Dr. W has pretty much made it disappear in as little as 8 months! Choose Dr.W you will be in great hands! I can never thank him enough

Dr. Weaver and his staff is very kind and knowledgeable. I have been seeing Dr. Weaver for over 10 years. I believe he is the best Dermatology in the world. My first appointment I waited over 2 hrs. I liked Dr. Weaver though one of his clinical diagnoses for my hair loss was trichtotillomania. I am definitely not pulling my hair out. Would have appreciated if he had just asked. A biopsy was performed. When I went back the results were given to me by his nurse that was on Tues. Never saw him to discuss them. Was told two Rx’s would be called into my pharmacy after she got the correct dosages from him. Today is Friday. Still no word. I’ve called several times. Always get an answering machine. Have left multiple messages. No call backs though he has plenty off staff that did not appear busy on the two days I was there.
I love the doctor. He's been treating my damaged hair edges but recently I went in for a hair check up and he asked me if I needed his assistance with anything else. I've had acne then adult acne for many years and recently my skin has been very irritable. I thought I was suffering from a food allergy or something. Went to another dermatologist and everything they recommended only made the itching worse. Dr. Weaver took a look at my skin for less than 5 seconds and was able to give me the perfect prescription. He said I had facial eczema. Less than 2 weeks later and my skin in clearer than ever. I'm very happy!
Dr. Weaver is amazing! I have actually been visiting his practice and a patient for over 10 years. Both he and his staff are very attentive, and well informed on the latest and greatest treatments. My experiences have been positive. I relocated to the Austin area and continue to travel back to Houston, as I would like to continue with Dr. Weaver as my dermatologist.
