Company Description

SINCE OUR FOUNDING IN 1914, DUNWOODY HAS BEEN A PIONEER IN TECHNICAL EDUCATION. Dunwoody believes that students learn best when they are actively engaged with their subject. That means they do while learning and learn by doing. And our faculty and staff are the same way. We practice what we teach.

They promised me a great HVAC career, 30k later now I'm an apprentice electrician and my school is paid for. It's a for profit college, if you want to get into a trade, I work with a lot of people that went to MCTC, or pretty much any public trade school. Don't waste your time or money.

Automotive program is incredible. Every automotive instructor is excellent. Have dozens of new cars to work on. Would give a 10 / 5. Must be ready to apply yourself

Unprofessional, plus the cost will be a lot more foe your degree here compared to other colleges. IT department is lacking and is not up to date. Make sure whatever career you pick they like to see your education done here, IT jobs seemed to favor MCTC over Dunwoody.

Be aware that the cost of tuition here is almost four times as much as what you would pay at any of the nearby public technical colleges. Most importantly, you should first check with employers in the field you're interested in to find out which schools they prefer. There are several majors where other nearby schools are considered to be a better option.

I went to the U for a number of years and I can tell you that Dunwoody is a much better learning environment. The instructors and administration actually WANT you to succeed and you get a strong sense of that. I am halfway through my Mechanical Engineering degree and I've already learned more than some of my other friends did at a Big 12 university.

This place forever changed my life. I thrived in the small class sizes and hands on approach to labs. Dunwoody has close ties to industry professionals that help shape and guide the curriculum. I highly recommend this school. Keep in mind it is private, not-for-profit, and entirely tuition driven, so staff and faculty are very dedicated to student success.

Currently in the Automotive program and beyond grateful to be at Dunwoody. Dunwoody has already changed my life and it's only fall semester. In my honest opinion if you are seeking a top notch school Dunwoody has you covered. Aside from being a father (which will always be number one) attending Dunwoody was the best strategic decision I've made. Thank you for letting me share my experience so far.
