If you like fondue you will love Fondue Stube,it has excellent fondue,different varieties,everything is fresh,and the portions are very generous,great family atmosphere,and very good service,perfect place for any occasion.
The vibe here might not be for everyone, but I loved it. Classical music playing (often haunting pieces), red painted walls, and everyone dressed nicely with an appropriate "good evening"... it felt like a haunted mansion or something. Probably not the vibe they're after (please don't take offense!), but it was great. The food itself was wonderful, we had the beef fondue - if you're a novice like we were, this does NOT include cheese. It's simply the fondue style of cooking raw meat in hot oil. Very delicious though, especially with the variety of sauces they provide. Fresh salad to start, vegetables to cook on the side, and many options for wine. As you can imagine, it's a bit pricy, but not overly so. And yes, you will leave smelling like cooked oil. Would definitely come back here.
Love Fondue Stube! Service is always spectacular. Waiters are always friendly and helpful. The owner(she is so sweet) always comes around and checks on everybody. Food is DELICIOUS; the crisp salad and garlic bread, all the cheese fondues, the meat and veggies, and of course, the chocolate fondue. Our very favorite and the only fondue place we go to!
