We've been here many times. This one was not up-to-par. The oil was too hot and splashed us quite a bit until the waiter finally showed up. Also, there was another guest who did not have much of an inside voice, and used foul language...so that brought the experience down a notch. Not that I blame the restaurant for that. Will still come again.

Don't get me wrong this is the most romantic place I have ever been to, but I only had two problems! The portions they gave us was to little for the amount of money I spent which was about 250 not including tip or valet! Also the hostess told my girlfriend that a winter hat was not allowed inside the restaurant, but yet again I saw a teenager with a whole adidas outfit. Online they clearly state no sports attire so if they enforce it on one person they need to do the same with all. Other then that the experience was great and the food as though it was cooked by us it was delicious.

Fun date night. At around $150 for two with a discount to dine at a table 2’x2’ in a half busy restaurant it’s not a venue I would recommend. It was a good experience, but a date night at home would be more fun, plus half the price.

Nice place for fondue in Chicago. Their cheese fondue was very tasty and creamy. I just wish they had a better bread assortment to go with it. The chocolate fondue was also very good, but I wish it came with more fruits to be dipped in (instead of the many sweet options - cake, churros, etc.)

I love this place the atmosphere is cozy and delightful. Indulge you taste buds from the house salad, cheese to chocolate fondue with all the trimmings. You can choose your main course and prepare it yourself. Excellent service!!

If you've never been here, find that special someone and wow them! Or even just gather a group of friends and enjoy the great food, drinks, and company! This is Chicago's most romantic restaurant. They have an excellent cozy and classy atmosphere, dim lighting, flavorful food and perfectly paired drinks. They are always a great choice for special dates and enjoyable evenings. No matter the occasion, Gejas Cafe is an amazing dining experience.

This place is great, has a Romantic/Intimate atmosphere. We went with our 12yr old, he had a great time, being able to interact. Next time, we shall leave him at home. I would skip on cheese bread and Salad, to hold out for main entrees and the chocolate fondue. I wish they had served a few more marshmallows.

Geja's Cafe has the absolute nicest, kindest, friendliest staff in the Western Hemisphere. They also have a cozy and romantic atmosphere, an extensive wine list and pots of hot liquids so I don't recommend bringing young children. I do recommend eating all of the churros off the chocolate fondue set while your date is in the bathroom. There's some good non-permit, non-meter parking to the north on Clark. Shout out to Shannon B!

This place is for fondue champs! This place is for first dates. You can come here to celebrate pretty much anything. The process of eating here is very methodical - a few different ways to fondue (cheese, cook, and chocolate [Belgian that is!!!!]). The service is excellent. You'll think at first that you don't get a ton of food, but because of the "way you eat" which is fondue style - little bits of food over the course of an hour. Mix that with your favorite wine and you have yourself a very memorable night. Very intimate setting.

Very romantic atmosphere. We got the cheese plate appetizer and the 1 x seafood plate for two people and that was more than enough. The only problem is that it felt a little crammed. Reservation is a must !
