Come for the Excellent tailoring and stay for the shoe shine. This hidden gem is located above a nondescript cobbler but has consistently proven to be the best tailor in DC. I have had 2 suits fully tailored here and was very satisfied with the fit. Prices are slightly steep but you for 175 bucks you can retailor an entire suit and it will be worth every penny

I've used JC Lofton several times and they have never failed me. Consistently great craftsmanship, even when it has to be a quick turnaround. They're my go-to whenever I need something tailored.

Very easy to talk to and very quick at the fix. I had to have a fancy dress with lots of the lace hemmed and it was done in a matter of three or four days. Price was very reasonable! I highly recommend.

True LIFE SAVERS! Mr. Lofton and the team were tremendous, quick, kind, and very fun! I needed extreme alterations on a dress for a formal event (aka I needed a new dress). They did everything I needed and the dress mess turned out absolutely perfect. To top it off, they did it in less than 2 days! Will definitely be back.

It is an odd location if you aren't in the know. You walk through the shoe shine/cobbler on the first floor and up the stairs. It can also be a little hectic and crowded, but I think that just speaks to the fact that they do good work and have lots of clientele. They have never let me down with workmanship and quality and have even done a couple of rush jobs for me when I needed work done at the last minute.

No complaints here. Mr. Lofton altered a suit for my 3 year old. Lets just say my vision was executed to a tee. And my son was the talk of the ball. Proud to work with Mr. Lofton and look forward to many more suits in my sons future. #1stsuitcustomefit
