I have used a couple other resume and Linkedin writing service before and I have to say Doug’s work is far superior to them. I first sent in my resume to get feedback and that is when I knew this time it was going to be different. He noticed several formatting errors that could cause issues with applicant scanning systems. His response time is always speedy and full of good information as well, and he always followed up by the time he committed to. Overall I am extremely happy with the way my resume and Linkedin profile turned out. I will continue to use his services going forward and have already referred a friend who is going through the process now, and will continue to review others who are looking to invest in their resumes and careers.

I found JobStars from researching resume writing services on Yelp. I emailed about 5-6 companies for quotes (resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile), samples of their styles of writing and design, and if they would be able to tailor them to different job fields. Doug was actually one of the first to email me back. I immediately favored his template and I even showed my girlfriend the three templates (without telling which one I preferred) and she agreed that Doug's was the best. Doug's writing style is professional, easy to read, and the template was very appealing and eye-catching. The next day, I called Doug to ask him a few questions. Based on our conversation, I knew I wanted to choose JobStars. Doug is a genuine guy who really wanted to help me out. He answered all of my questions and offered the best value for the three services I requested so I purchased the package later that night. The following morning, I received a response email with a questionnaire to fill out. After filling out the questionnaire and sending it back, Doug said it would take 4-5 business days for him to write the first draft. Sure enough, I received the first draft in 4 business days. As an added bonus, Doug went out of his way and sent me an alternate resume (I'm pursuing careers in two different fields). I informed him there was an application I wanted to submit that was due at midnight, and within an hour of sending me the first draft, I had an alternate resume as well. As mentioned before, Doug genuinely wanted to help me succeed. Overall, I am very happy with choosing JobStars. My resume looks outstanding and highlights my accomplishments from previous jobs. Most importantly, it created my own brand which is important in job hunting and standing out. I feel much more confident starting my job search and feel like I have an edge over the competition.
