Large Halloween Store that is great for finding a costume with the rows and rows of various costumes. Also, a great place to find FX makeup for your assemble. For decorating your house and yard, though, I thought it was seriously lacking compared to other stores. However, it is supposed to be a costume store, so it was wonderful for that.

Great place to shop for costumes for Halloween! I've also come here for makeup for a few productions I've been in. Staff is friendly and helpful. You should expect it to be packed during Halloween season but throughout the rest of the year, it's more chill.

I bought a costume here, only to discover that it was missing a crucial part (which was clearly listed as being among the package contents) when I got home. But they don’t let you return anything, so I am stuck with the defective costume. That being said, they do have tons of costumes, the prices are decent, and they have plenty of security and helpful staff there. Just make sure you inspect your costume before you buy it, or you’ll end up like me.

Best place to go if you need to find a costume for a special occasion. it doesn’t have air conditioning, but what it lacks in a comfortable shopping experience; it makes up for in variety. Do yourself a favor and check it out, nothing else in town can beat Halloween costumes all year round!

This is absolutely the place to be when it's Halloween. Helpful staff, amazing selection b of products, and great spooky atmosphere! As a theater person, the makeup selection and costumes are good for the stage!

My family loves going here! There are some huge steals on sale costumes ($5 children's costumes WHAAAAAAAAAT??) and their setup is HUGE! Staff is very friendly and helpful, they really know their stuff :)

Kids had an amazing experience here. It was our first visit this pass Halloween. The prices are worth the quality. The line was literally wrapped around the store but I was impressed at how organized the staff was about getting people through the lines. The length of the line had me expecting to stand in line for at least 30 minutes, no joke we were done in less than 10! The sales associate that helped me through the store (who's name I forgot to ask) was so happy, helpful & patient, something a mother toting kids through the store APPRECIATES! I will be back EVERY year for Halloween.

Yes, they have it. Seriously, they do. Costumes all year long? Yep. Holiday and party decor? Yep. Masquerade ball attire? Yep. Sexy dress-up? Yep. A $600 Santa suit? Yep. Santa suit rentals? Yep. While other Halloween pop up shops come and go, JB's is open all year long. Pretty cool to have a large local store like this. Even if you don't intend to buy anything, you should go check this place out. There are worse ways to spend an hour in St. Louis.
